Kalpana wobbled unsteadily as she moved through the tall grass. She was a plump, tiny little ball of fur who had just opened her bright green eyes to the world. Now as she wiggled her nose eagerly she gazed around to try and find her father.
They were playing hide and seek and this time she was the seeker. Oh it was great fun!
Her stubby tail wagged madly behind her as she moved, green orbs wide as she tried desperately to locate him.
"Daddy~ Daddy~" But there was no reply.

The tiny pup stumbled after her sister, teal eyes wide and bright as she paused occasionally to look about her. This new world was brilliant, vivid with bright colours she had never seen. Though she hadn't honed her senses as well as she might later in life, she sniffed the air curiously before scrambling to catch up with Kalpana.
Watching her sister's white tipped tail bounce before her eyes, Tunz took the fluff between her puppy teeth as she followed. She had joined late in the game and would have to wait her turn, but she could help Kalpana look mean while. Speaking around the tail, her words were jumbled, "Whah s'ahee?"

The alpha found that she was wandering, it wasn't something she did all too often but then there were some days such as today when she had a reason to. Today it was her neices and nephews. Her brother needed to know that his children would be the first of a new and better pack.
She however came across two pups and not her brother.
"Ugh" She looked at the two pups and felt sick. Two girls, they better have brothers.
"So who are you two?" She tried to talk softly but it was near impossible for her to do such a thing. She hated pups.

"Dunnoooo!" She replied and giggled. Laughter seemed so easy for her and it made her feel wonderful to do such a thing. To smile, to be happy, it was the most beautiful blessing in all of the world.
"Mebbeh he's...." Her brolliant green eyes shifted from side to side and she gave a small sniff, both huge ears twitching forwards.
"Oh, nose smells somethin'!" She giggled again but paused when the adult entered the scene. "Oooooo~!" She wondered if one day she would be that large.
"Toonzi!" She called to her sister, in case she was missing this. "Look at the big dowgy! She has a big nose!" She giggled again. "Just like daddy!"
Then she seemed to settle and answered the adult with as much decorum as possible. "We're puppies!" She giggled again.

Tunz loved the sound of her sister's laughter, loved the sound of her voice. If anything, the little cub was so full with love for her family that she didn't believe she would ever leave them. She would give her life to protect them, she knew it even at such a young age though she didn't know the words for it yet.
Releasing Kalpana's tail when they came upon the adult female, her eyes looked up and up so far that she fell back onto her rump as she lost her balance. When her sister giggled and answered the grown up, Tunz couldn't help but giggle as she turned her eyes toward her sister, "No, Kahwi, names!" Looking back up at the female, she gave her a calculating look before answering, "I'm Toonz! Have you seen daddy?"

Twawa looked disgusted. "Stupid things, I know you are puppies. My brother does have pathetic children." She snarled a little before smirking. She could use this to her advantage.
"Now you too, I know exactly where your father is, why don't you follow me, I will take you to him." She smirked happily, she would take them back to her den and then she would scare them into behaving for her. These two would be the first warriors, well the lighter colour one would need to be broken first she seemed far too stupid.
"Do you have any brothers?"

"Yoo know where daddy is?" Kalpana blinked. "Well he must be bad hider!" She squeaked. She hesitated before following, there was something in the other dog's eyes that had her nervous. Then she smiled and introduced herself.
"I'm Kalpaaana!" She bounced a little and nodded as she moved, she did seem a little oblivious to things around her. If this was daddy's sister then surely nothing was wrong!
She chased a butterfly as she walked and leapt upwards to snap at it. Luckily she was too slow and clumsy and the insect fluttered away. She landed awkwardly, losing her paws and falling on her stomach. "Oooof!" She wrinkled her nose to stop dust from getting in it, deciding to let her sister answer the other question.

If the pup knew the feeling, she would have requested that Kalpana and she found their father on their own. She felt as if the fur on the back of her neck was standing on end as she looked at this aunt, but puppyhood overrode instincts and after a tense moment where she was unsure what to do, she looked at her sister and laughed when she fell, "You ahright, Kahwi?"
Setting her tiny paws in motion after Twawa, she glanced at her sister before answering for the both of them with a nod, "Yes'm. Lots." She looked away bashfully for a moment, "Buh I can' count yet."

Oh she really hated pups.
They had lots of brothers? Good that meant that her army could start to grow though these girls would have to be the beginning of it, well Kalpana sounded far too much like her father so she was dismissed quite quickly but the other one seemed to have some potential, either way she would try with both.
"This way then." She smiled and turned to walk in the direction of her den, she turned to make sure the two pups were following.
"Are either of you hungry? I have some food back at my den as well."

"Fine~ Fine~" She sang as she continued to bounce along. She truly did take after her father, but she was a pup and pups had the right to be cheerful. Who knows what would happen to her personality as she grew!
"Lotses and lotses!" She echoed her sister cheerfully, turning her head up to gaze at her aunt with the eyes of her father. Then she shook her head and giggled, obviously finding Twawa's words funny.
"Mama gives us food!" She called. "My teethies no strong 'nuff for big doggy food!" She showed her tiny little milk teeth as if proof to this. "Seeeeeee~?" And she followed still, completely oblivious to the true ways of her aunt.

Tunz shook her head at her aunt when she spoke of food, though her attention was distracted by her sister's rambunctious showing of her tiny milk teeth. Giggling, the little pup did the same and bared her teeth in a harmless smile at her aunt. Any initial instinct was swept away as she recognised the older dog to be family and worth protecting, she let herself feel safe as she looked over her shoulder at Kalpana.
Nodding in agreement about the food situation, she shrugged, "I'm nah hungry, tho'. Than' you."
