I'm back with a few more photos. Shots that were too distant (because I swear Sara's mother just can't seem to quite get the zoom functions on Sara's camera) will not be posted here as you can't even quite make out my face...But then again, both of those two are the only ones where I am wearing just my truks, so I guess I'll include it, as I got the impression alot of you were really looking forward to that. As for the other one, my back is turned and its just as small, but those of you still wanting to see it can find it in the "Trip" thread.
LargerThis was taken in the Pirate section of Ripley's Aquarium and I'm really happy with it. The way the fedora covers one eye, the way the shadow behind me looks like a bat, the lighting...Everything about this picture just worked out perfectly.
LargerThis was at a miniature golf course we went to. I loved it because (even though I came in either dead-last or second to it) I got the chance to see lots of toads and even a frog! The frog surprised me, as I thought it might be too early in the year for anything more than tadpoles, but perhaps their life-cycles aren't as seasonal in warmer climates. Seriously there had to have been around 5 that I saw and it wasn't a large course. I just really hope none of the little toads get stepped on. I had to hold up Sara's family so I could get the one toad off the green and into safety. I hope they're all still okay...
LargerFor all of those wondering what Sara's family looks like, this should help you get a good image. On the left is her mom, the old man is her dad, and the big guy is her brother Todd.
LargerThis is a horseshoe crab.
LargerSadly, this is as close as we got to a shot of Josh in trunks but seeing as something (I dunno if it was the saltwater, the sunscreen, or what, but something) caused my chest (and only my chest) to break out really badly, but while the area was large they were all really tiny and hard to see from a distance of even a foot (especially as pink as my chest is right now, as I don't tan) but if demand continues and we ever find a pool around Pittsburgh maybe I'll try and get a few shots then.
LargerThis has nothing to do with anything. We were back in my apartment by the time I had this taken. Pure fanservice, just for you.
Oh, by the way, the one where I'm holding the crab will be explained; I just thought it would be funny to give nothing more than that as a caption. Evidently they have a petting zoo (which, considering these are aquatic creatures seems REALLY weird to hear about but it's true...Believe it or not...Sorry, I had to). In a seperate area they also had manta rays (whose barbs were trimmed, so it was completely safe. By the way, the edges of their fins feel kind of feathery but they are otherwise quite leathery.
