I'm waiting to pick it up next week when I run down for BPRD: Garden of Souls. Aside from a five-page spoiler on Darkhorse, I've managed to avoid a lot of spoilers for Hellboy: Darkness Calls, so I'm hoping to be really surprised.

ArcticHecate I'm waiting to pick it up next week when I run down for BPRD: Garden of Souls. Aside from a five-page spoiler on Darkhorse, I've managed to avoid a lot of spoilers for Hellboy: Darkness Calls, so I'm hoping to be really surprised. Oh, you will be. It literally blew my socks off. And I'm not even using "literally" in a figurative way!

I'm hoping my local Comic Shop'll be holding a copy for me. If they are, I'll be picking it up either Tuesday or Thursday...

Man, I'd completley forgotten about this... My shop's gotten a bit unreliable, I'll have to mention it when I'm in next. Knew there was something last time, but Hellblazer and Cable & Deadpool were in, and that's a damn good combination.

Since BPRD kept being delayed, when I went down to the comic shop to pick up Darkness Calls, they had run out. I suppose that's in some way a good sign (it's popular) but now I'll have to wait until next month. They'll get me a copy of the first, not to mention the second issue once it comes out.

Got the TPB the other day.
I like Mignola's art better, but this was still good. It left on an cliffhangar- I HATE when that happens. I was pretty fond of the giant and the epilogues. It's sad to think that Hellboy doesn't know about Roger... I hadn't even thought about that until Liz brought it up.
