In the outskirts of one of Gaia's major trading hubs, waiting on the road is an inn that stands between the city and the great wide world. Though this inn is on the border of something more, it is the place between this world and another.

The deceiptively small inn that is much larger than it seems is four floors in height, holding one very large Winters family, consisint of over a dozen children, and a handful of grandchildren.

Still, come inside if you wish, after all this is an inn for the weary.

For some odd reason, even though the inn looks small on the outside, it is unusually large on the inside. Perhaps it is magic, or perhaps it?s because most only look at the front. It?s hard to tell sometimes, everything is lit by candles inside of lanterns. Despite the fact it is mainly candle light, the inn is pretty bright. There are etchings of butterflies with flaming wings on the door and lightly on the windows, and along the ceiling and even a large on the floor of every room. They give of an aura of magic to them. Perhaps they are runes for protection? It is quite possible.

:The Bar and Dining Room:

This is the first thing anyone sees once entering the inn. Behind the bar counter is the door leading into the kitchen, but only the family and staff are allowed there. The meals are prepared ahead of time, and vary from day to day, but it?s good fare. Only those children who have reached teenhood are allowed behind the bar counter to serve drinks. There are many places to sit, by the window or inside the room itself, though it?s interesting how none of the tables have been put into dark corners and all corners have a lantern well lit.

:Sunroom:

Beyond the Dining Room is the Sunroom where there are great planes of glass for windows and roses growing in the wood around them. How the roses got there no one knows, but rumour has it an inn patron created them. Over plush couches and chairs create a large semi circle around the fire mantle. More often than not the fire roars with life on cold evenings after the sun goes down.

:Waterfall:

For some odd reason within the sunroom a great huge pond takes up half of the room (and the room is quite large). It looks to be too deep to be part of the original foundation. Truth be told it looks like it was dug into the ground itself. At the far end is a small waterfall, but why such things in an inn like this? If you look closely, you can see something swimming below.

:Fourth Floor False Door:

Up on the fourth floor where the family lives is a false door that is beside Kara's workroom. It does not lead anywhere nor does it normally open, Upon the wooden door etched into the wall are etched two runes, one leads to the Borderlands of Elnara's world, the other leads to the Palace of the Southern Elves. Which rune you choose though, is up to you.

How the Door Works
As the player or party enters into the Four Lands they must roll a four sided dice, depending on where the dice land determines the time of day.

1 = Morning
2 = Afternoon
3 = Evening
4 = Night

If you wish to make it a bit more adventurous in where you'll land, roll two four sided dice, the second die will tell you were. Borderlands are odd and Palace are evens.

Kara checked her bags one last time as she stood outside the door to the newly created portal. She sighed nervously because this was the first time she would try this without using her magic and the fact time passed so quickly over there. She just hoped the weather was good when they landed. Though that was the good thing about having these sort of bags. She sighed a bit wistfully looking over at Donovan, and without Jin this time somehow she wondered if they could stay for just a bit longer. It wasn't like that much time was going to pass, even though she knew they would still age.

Still.....

"Ready to go?" she asked him touching the door.

Donovan nodded briskly as he look Kara's hand after checking his coat before escorting her through the portal.

"Of course," he replied.

After all, he wouldn't do a good service to his clan or her if he wasn't prepared for whatever happened.

It had been a few hours since Elnara had put Skye to bed for a nap, and she had spent her time reading. But it was rare for Skye to sleep this long ... and Elnara was starting to feel a little worried. She set her book aside and set off to check Skye's vase.

It was empty.

Maybe she had woken and wandered off to play, Elnara reasoned. She set out to look for Skye.

This... had to be the first time he had ever visited the inn, ever. Lore mused at the comfortable looking building before him, it was a wonder why people didn't come out here more often he mused taking a few steps onto the porch.

He arranged his bag carefully on his shoulder and hoped he wasn't distrubing anything. Lore knew he probably should have warned Elnara first before coming over, but if he didn't at least visit once he might chicken out, with a deep breath he opened the door and stepped in.

The 'false' door swung open as Kara padded through checking up and down the hall for any signs of the children. Afterall this was the family floor, and she hoped that the parents weren't too worried. Nevermind the rest of the family.

Elnara was only one room away from the front door when she heard the door open and close, and she sighed inwardly. As much as she wanted to find Skye as soon as she could, customers always came first. She headed out into the lobby.

"Welcome to Wande-"

She stopped short and blinked in disbelief. "Lore?" She ran forward and threw her arms around him in a hug. "Thank the Valar you're here - Skye's missing, will you help me find her?"

Her voice came out more desperately than she had meant to sound, but she couldn't help it.

Lore blinked for a moment trying to figure out just want happened, Skye went missing again?

"She wandered off again?" he asked putting a hand on her shoulder, "I'll help look," he mused it was a pity Rune was not here, otherwise it might be a bit quicker to look.

Serenity stepped through the door after Kara and looked around, her eyes wide with wonder. "That is so strange," she murmured, looking everywhere.

"She went for a sleep," Elnara explained, "But she's not in her vase and she's not in my room or hers or Celebor's or anywhere where I can find her ... I have no idea where she is or where she might be, and it's been hours ..."

Her brow furrowed with worry, and her words were quick and clipped.

The door shut behind the women, Donovan's free hand on the door. He looked up and down the hall briefly for a moment.

"Well, everything looks to be in one piece," he commented finally, "Unless there's something brewing under the surface."

"Take a deep breath," Lore tried to calm Elnara down, it wasn't going to help Skye of her mother started to panic.

Not that Lore could blame Elnara, after all Skye was small compared to the large area around them. He hoped that she didn't go outside, but according to Elnara she wouldn't.

"You said that Skye doesn't go outside without anyone, so there's still a good chance she's somewhere in the inn right?"

And there were a lot of places for a small Second to hide of course.

"Welcome to Wandering Blooms Inn," Kara smiled at Serenity before turning to Donovan, "Well I'm sure Elnara, Yue and Jaseth are worrying their heads off where their children went unless any of them had the foresight to ask Yuki where the kids went to."

Jaseth wouldn't have thought of it, she hoped that Yue would have, otherwise things might get a bit ugly.

Elnara took a deep breath and sighed, then nodded meekly, her eyes lowered. "I checked everywhere I could think of," she said quietly, trying to keep her voice even; "but she's never disappeared for this long, and I can't think of anywhere else she might be ..."

She put one hand to her forehead and tried to settle down.
