"Get...back...here..!" a little black and white Numa growled between leaps after a large butterfly, cursing her short, still-growing legs which were preventing her from catching up with the rascally thing. She knew her mother was probably worried sick about where she had disappeared to, but frankly, Scottie did not care. Licorice worried about everything, and it was very tiresome, so she was going to do what she durn well wanted today! And that involved catching this stupid butterfly.
"RAR!" Scottie howled as she scrambled up a rock and leapt down from it, attacking the butterfly from above and snapping her eager jaws shut on it. She shook her head like a dog for good measure, releasing her frustration before panting and glaring around her to see if any other upstart butterflies wanted to share the same fate, not bothering to spit the first out just yet.

Sayuri looked over in a sleepy glance to the other numa. Making so much noise. Who couldn't sleep. The black pelted numa slide through the branches lightly on the tips of her paws. Sliding from one side to the next til she got completely above the snarling numa.
She grinned some and laid her head across her paw examining this numa and why it was so hasty to act against a butterfly. this numa didn't talk. No one heard it talk except a few words in birth then silence. There was just nothing interesting to talk about. Nothing exciting either. A bore everything was to her. Except this numa. Frustration is what she saw and was chuckling in a evil laugh to.
She whipped her tail and made a crackling sound.

Hearing the noise, Scottie whipped around to charge it, angry at the butterflies and hoping that was another. She skidded to a stop at a tree, and glared at it before slamming her head against it, ramming it like a little goat. She perked up a little when that shook down a gumdrop that had not yet ripened, so she backed up a little to ram the tree a little harder, shaking down a ripened gumdrop which she immediately pounced on, totally oblivious to the butterflies now.

Her glanced flared at the other numa ramming in to her tree where SHE was napping. With light paws she jumped down on top of the numa's head and gracefully jumped on top of a huge gumdrop that had fallen.
The smell. It was somewhat repulsing and yet this was a femme. She couldn't believe it and with that she lent closer and stared down the little one. She was now agitated from the ramming and her not getting any sleep in the morning dusk.

Scottie frowned up at the new numa, surprised at her appearing out of nowhere but not willing to show it. Instead, she chose to ignore her for now, chewing on the gumdrop she had knocked down. Her temper was soothed for now by the sugar which she gnawed on ravenously, enjoying the taste and digging her claws into the sides.

She looked down. Leaning. Extending out her talons of some annoyed that she was being ignore. On the other hand she chose not to care what others thought but this numa made her annoyed somehow. "Er..." She mumbled under her breath.
Then tried to compose herself, laying her head on her paws. Watching.

"Yeth?" Scottie grumbled around a mouthful of gumdrop before swallowing it. She assumed this other numa had been in the tree she had just took out her frustrations upon, but why should that concern her? She should not have been sleeping in broad daylight in the first place as far as Scottie was concerned. The white and black numa took another chunk out of the gumdrop, taking great enjoyment out of the feeling of her newly developed fangs slicing into it.

She pondered. Long. And hard, she wasn't happy. Grumpy in fact now that she was awakened. She looked at the gumdrop tree she had been lying in and with a swipe of her talons and cut off a gumdrop to fall directly on the other's head. This took a little time since she was far up the tree.
Watching. Then turning her face to the other side to find rest once more.

Scottie let out a surprised squawk that made her choke on her last bite of the gumdrop then snarled in contempt up at the other numa. What a hateful little thing! I'll show her... Scottie growled inwardly before bouncing back a few paces to get up some speed. She dug at the ground like an enraged bull, wiggled her tail in the air, then charged the tree, ramming it as hard as she could in an attempt to shake the upstart down.

Sayuri felt the tree move. She wasn't amused. Quite the fact that she turned to meet the other's face; looking down. She smirked. Her tail whipped in the air making a crackling sound.
She wasn't easily scared or shakened. With a yawn she turned the other way once again and went to sleep.

Scottie just tried again, hitting the tree harder this time. If that didn't work, then she had another plan up her fur. Besides, even if she did not shake down the other numa, she was at least shaking down a lot of gumdrops to take home.

With not one smart remark or turn she yawned. Once more. She had kept her alert since birth so her being shaken down would be no easy feat.
She sat up and glanced over her shoulder. With one easy thought she leaped out in a backflip; in a graceful manner. Landing on the tip of her paws. Once landed she opened her eyes a jade color to view the child up and down. She didn't motion anything. Why would she in the first place.

Scottie huffed, pleased she had at least gotten the upstart out of the tree even if she had not fallen the way the white numa had hoped. Scottie returned the looking over with her own ruby-eyed glance.

"Were you expecting something more?" She said in a emotionless but gentle soft voice. Her tail made the cracking sound once again. Her step lightened just a bit and she jumped on to a gumdrop. Standing on it as her ears flung backwards.
