You do know that Sega coded the GBA port, not Nintendo, right? Blame them.

Do you mean the Sonic Advance series or the port of Sonic 1? Either way, what's wrong with it / them that are annoying you?
I've only got SAdv3 and aside from being unable to get past one of the level bosses, I've had no quibbles with it.

What she said.
The YouTube footage I've seen of the port of the original Sonic seemed clippy, buggy, slow and something that I generally didn't like the look of (although I haven't played it), but I like the Advance series.
WS and I came up with Sonic from the 2D era. I don't know if she'd agree with me on this, but I think it's nice to see that there's still a part of the franchise that's willing to keep that sense of non-linear levels and multiple playing strategies, and actually making you work a little.

Yeah, it was SEGA who devolped the games, not Nintedo. Blame SEGA~
Nintendo's actually the one system that most of the good Sonic games are on. I mean, StH wasn't on Nintendo and look what happened to it. XD It scored worse then Shadow the Hedgehog!

I enjoyed the SADv series...though the second irked me a fair bit.
I had it when I was back in college and I'd play it day in and day out.
It was fun and somewhat challenging,
Though the one hit wonder boss is possibly one of the worst going.
1hits are cheap

well the port, for some reason, has tons of glitches that never exsisted in the original. And, aside from all that, Sonic is much bigger, and thus can jump higher, and thus, can easily defeat the whole difficulty of some of the boss fights, as you can simply jump up and hit Robotnik rather then waiting for him to come into reach. Sometimes even when you get 50 rings, the big ring is non-existent at the end of the level. I really am confused with what went on as this port was made.
