Yeah, so I was up two nights ago around 2-ish, and I found my favorite movie ever on Cinimax. The Shining. I saw it when I was about ten and it's scared the crap out of me ever since. I'm a huge fan of Kubric, himself, actually.

I love the shining it is so cool I love the older one tho not the new restored virsion. I hate it when people do that they need to leave the older olnes as they are so we can enjoy new moves! But I have to admit the Shining is kick a** heart

Do not remember the actual words Stephen King used to describe Kubrick's film, but the general idea is something along the lines of "The Shining is a shiney, red, brand-new Cadallac...with no engine."
I must agree with Mr. King. Too much of the substance which made the novel so cool and scary is missing from the film. At least it looks badass on the surface.

I enjoyed that movie. I think someone did a spoof on it on a website where they use cartoon bunnies to renact the movie in 30 seconds. I think that site does the same thing to Jaws and the Exorcist. They were amusing.

Narquelie I enjoyed that movie. I think someone did a spoof on it on a website where they use cartoon bunnies to renact the movie in 30 seconds. I think that site does the same thing to Jaws and the Exorcist. They were amusing. I've seen those animations, they're hilarious. xd ...as for the Shining, it was enjoyable for a Stephen King movie. Usually I find them to be too long and boring.

I saw that once at midnight with my sister on TV. Pretty freaky, and it was cool how they did many things. BTW has anyone seen the Shining TV series? After King was disapointed with the film he worked with some guy I can't remember on this series, which followes his book to the letter...

I saw parts of it. I am working on reading the book, but I cannot get much done, since during the day is when I don't feel like reading, but I don't want to read that book at night. *twitch*
