The sunset colored mare dwelled within the safety of the circle of trees, she'd once been fearful of being alone on such a dark night, but now after many moons and growing personally, she found herself often alone in the night, the soft sounds of the life around her only silencing the demeaning thoughts in her mind.
She no longer pinned over her broken heart, she thought as she tossed her long mane, the silken tenderals falling around her shoulders. Nor did she curse the night for taking him away, but she accepted that she and the dark coated stallion were just not meant to be.
With a flicker of her now gemed ear, she signed as she listened to the soothing sounds of the night, the beautiful sky laid above as a chilly spring wind danced around her.

Nightfall. The word itself can send shivers through the young foals. To some adult even, the night was a scary time, mysterious and ominous. To others though, it was a quiet time, the ideal time for meditation. Or, in Eirian's case, more active activities.
The stallion's swift canter carried him along silently, long black mane billowing behind him as he danced, silver hooves barely making a sound. Blue eyes gleamed with the pale glow of the moon, pupils dilated fully to soak up as much light as they could, even though he knew this area by heart. Constant ensomia made it possible for him to know the nooks and crannies in the dark, wandering at first with stumbles, then smoother, almost silent.
Slowing to a walk, small silver ears perked warily atop his head. Was it just his imagination, or was there someone in the clearing? Curiousity got the better of him, and he trotted closer. No doubt about it, someone was there.
"Hello?"
