I think he's my favorite author. Has anyone else read anything by him? I've read:

The Ender Quartet
The Shadow Quartet
First Meetings
Treason
The Homecoming Novels
Lost Boys
Homebody
The Alvin Books

And probably some others that I don't remember right now. Anyways, I like the Enderverse the best, maybe because it's what I read first?

The new book, Shadow of the Giant, rather disapointed me. It started that thing with Randi, and then totally abandoned it.

I'm terrible at starting discussions. But I want to discuss these books. So. Someone start a topic!

HEART HEART OSC <3333
well, i've really only read ender books. but GODDAMMITILOVE.
i've read

Ender's Game
Speaker For the Dead [favorite]
Xenocide
Children of the Mind
Ender's Shadow
uhh.. either Shadow of the Hegemon or Shadow Puppets.. i read one and started reading the other, but didn't finish for various reasons. it was the one where the battleschool kids get kidnapped. and stuff.

the rest of the books are on my list, but.. wow, do i have a lot of things to read. crying ;

anyway.. i'm not really too interested in his other books, mostly because i have to prioritize.. and also because a big part of why i like the ender books is um.. ender. and the other characters. they're all fascinating, and put together with such depth. <3 and i think the piggies are the coolest thing since sliced bread.
and the buggers.
and jane.
and stuff.

XDDDD; [/fangirl]

I want to read Enders Game, I just haven't got to it yet. My dad owns it and my sister read it, said it was good.

4th grade? It seems kinda... harsh, for a kid that age...

6 times in a single year? =P That tends to turn books bad.

I'm having a hard enough time putting up with Oliver Twist after reading it 7 times since I was 7 - and I think that's a great book.
