Mark "Undertaker" Calaway's expected long-term reign as World champion is in jeopardy, not because of a booking change, but because of a torn bicep suffered before Sunday's Backlash PPV match.
Calaway will be seeing Dr. James Andrews this afternoon, but is still scheduled to appear on tonight's television show which is conveniently in Birmingham, where Andrews' works out of.
He was in tremendous pain Monday morning after the match. Because of how the muscle has completely rolled up the air, the belief is he suffered a complete muscle tear off the bone, which will require surgery and he'll be out six to eight months.
The original booking plan was for a lengthy Undertaker title run this year, and him working far more house shows than in many years. That's one of the reason he trained himself into getting so lean, which gave him added stamina and quickness on this run.
If it is at all possible, Undertaker does want to drop the championship in the ring, but that decision won't be made until Andrews sees him today.

I can't and won't believe it until I see it for myself. I figure that WWE.com would have posted something about this if it were true. They are getting better with that kinda stuff... Since we all know what's going on anyways. I guess between this Friday and next we shall see what happens to Taker.
If it is true I'm pissed and depressed. I wanted Taker to have the title until the day he retired from wrestling.

I bet wwe.com isn't saying anything right now just because they don't want to say anything to soon, so as not to cause panic among the fans. Because they KNOW that people have wanted taker to have a title reign for awhile now.
As for taker being being injured that would one would one of the nails that would be put in SD's coffin, with basicly just Benoit, Batista, Londen and Kendrick holding the show together (in my opinion anyway) unless a lengend returns soon, SD is gonna have a big problem,
sernairo I'm predicting for this week:
when Mark Henry makes his return this week. They'll probably have him "hurt" taker and then put the WHC up for grabs.

Actually, since WWE.com is a kayfabe site, and since it wouldn't be in Taker's character to take time off for an injury, it's very likely that this news wouldn't be reported. I suspect a Buried Alive or Casket match will put him away long enough for him to recover.
After all, imagine WWE reporting that the Undertaker is going to see a doctor...

Dr.: Okay...does it hurt here? *pokes UT's shoulder*
UT: *glare*
Dr.: How about here? *pokes wrist*
UT: *glare*
Dr.: I see. What about here? *pokes elbow where biceps attach*
UT: *rolls eyes back, makes throat-cut sign, chokeslams with left hand*

Hhmmm...something tells me that wouldn't work out too well...

Now I won't get to see mt childhood hero...
There's no way they'd tell you he's injured, they're planning on
taking him out next taping I heard, steel cage or something. emo
He probably did that to the doctor, there's no doubt he's pissed
beyond belief about it. *Demands more title reigns*
