I don't understand why people say that... Hunting is about as intriguing to get up to 99 (or similar) as any skill. Yes, it's boring. But everything's boring when you're doing it repeatedly!
On the other hand, it would be nice to see some of you guys occasionally. Woot! 70 now!
OHMIGOSH I have such a good noob story...
H'okay. So I had to go to world 31 because the Aussie servers crashed spontaneously. A level 45 comes up, and randomly kills a few chinchompas. This is what happened, in a nutshell.
Rissa: Please don't kill my chinchompas.
Guy: *keeps killing them*
Rissa: Please don't, I'm trying to hunt them.
Etcetera. I was trying to be polite and it wasn't working... Eventually he started getting amusing. Oops... did I say amusing? I meant abusive. Well, it was pretty amusing for me. For example:
Guy: Yo momma's so stupid that when she gets locked in a supermarket she starves to death!
Rissa: Oh dear. We're resorting to "yo momma" jokes now? You're really running out of ideas, huh?
Guy: You're stupid
Rissa: *whimpers* Oh gee that's harsh...
Guy: And ugly
Rissa: Lol XD
This carried on for ages, and I once told him that I was at a mate's place and there were 3 other people here laughing at him. A lie, but he didn't know that! Basically, every time he insulted me, I'd laugh at him or come back with something unresponsive. Eventually he gave up trying to insult me and just started killing my Chinchompas, and I didn't like that at all because I'm trying to get through this as quick as possible. So...
Rissa: G2g, but it's been fun talking with you!
I then go back to an Aussie server.
