me and six friends once had a terrible experience with a ouji board
(i changed the names)
this is the story:
so i bought this ouji board at kb toys because it looked cool
when me and my friends got home we decided to play it in their bathroom with the lights off(big mistake!)
so at first were joking but then somehting scary happend we aske how many people were in the room
it answered 8 when their were only 6
so then we asked who are you?
and we got we are here
we were sacared and asked what do you want?
it said you'll see
now at this time my friends were acting scared and talking to each other
i saw these two long and skinny black shapes rising above my friends then they started lowering
it looked like they were going to grab them
scared for my frend's lives i turned on the light as fast as possible
we all decided to go home, but before i left i saw a glareing face in the mirror, a dark face
i ran home
the next day my friend chris told me how he was walking out of the shower and steped on a hair dryier cord and asmost got elcetrocuted(it doesn't stop there)
my other friend that was there almost was hit by a cay
another friend and me were listening to music when their chandileir crashed down from the celing and would have it them if i didn't push them out of the way
my other friend was attaked by a dog that had rabies
my other friend almost got his head caught in a rusty bear trap(he feel and his head just missed it)
and my sixth friend sliped on a wet floor and would have banged his head on cement if we hadn't have catched him
6 friends, 6 weird accidents and almost deaths, all in one week
i was the only one left that hadn't had anything happen to them
we were all scared and thought that we freed some demon with the ouji bored
i thought that i was going to die
but weeks went by and nothing happend
my friends send an angel was looking out for me because i turned on the light and stoped the game
i thought so too, because we never played ouji again
don't play ouji, you never know what you could unleash
what attacked us, what saved me, why wasn't i harmed
we don't know, but the next day i returned the ouji bored and we never spoke of it again
don't mess with the darkness and the unknown
always turn on the light.

My father messed with a ouija board when he was about my age (15 or so) and he won't talk about it much. He just goes on about how he and some friends opened a door, closed it, and talking of the events that took place will open that door again. Whatever happened, it scared the hell out of him.

This might see weird but in my opinion all your friends had luck, because although they all came very close to being hurt they all just got away, if you get what I mean.
I’ve heard of this kind of thing before. Ouija boards can be very dangerous because your inviting some thing in, but not anything in particular, so anything could answer.(Not that I’m an expert or anything.)

See now... I've used Ouija boards in the past and not woken anything up... Just lucky I guess.
Though before we used it Heather and I said a sort of prayer (to allow only good spirits/forces) and then again afterwards (to send them safely away). Maybe that was part of our fortune with safe use. *shrug*

I use a Ouija board about every other weekend with friends..
Before we start, I have everyone join hands and say a prayer, only inviting things 'from the light' in. We light white candles and place a circle around us. We usually have three spirit communicate with us on a regular basis, unless our guests bring some in with them, which happens sometimes. People can have spirits attached to them.
You do have to be careful when using one. You can invite bad things in, that's why you need to take precautions before using it.
It's my father's board, and he has never had a bad experience with one. I used to play with it as a child, and I do not ever remember anything bad happening to me or my friends..
In fact, nothing 'real' happened with the Ouija board until I turned 17.. When I turned 17, my psychic senses seemed to open and I became aware of the supernatural things around me. (I am 18 now)
The 'Black figures' you saw.. That's how I see spirits. Shadow people. They more or less cannot do much in that form (at least with all my experiences, that can't). Just scare you a bit. They just want you to be aware that they are there.
My advice: If you use the board again, say a prayer to welcome in only good spirits. Spirits that do not seek to harm.
..However, if I had an experience like that, I probably wouldn't want to use a board for a long while, haha.

My aunt had some scary encounters with an ouija board....let me see
first time- It tried to drop a ceiling fan on her friends boyfriends head because it didnt like him.
2nd time- the oracle would spin crazily around the board when she talked about god.
3rd time- The spirit said it was satan!
4th time- It said "I killed caren, hahaha..." and caren was the name of her mother that died recently.
5th time- when she burned it the thin plastic covering melted off the board and it sounded like a baby screaming and crying.

Yeeaaah, burning an Ouija board is a bad idea. Those things are seriously dangerous; I'd avoid them at all costs.
My "mom," (human shell's mother) said that she was just playing with an Ouija board with her friends one night. Whatever they summoned kept saying "kill Joyce," who was one of her friends there.
I dunno where the board is now, and I kinda don't wanna find out. ninja

I've had a weird experience with one of those before. We contacted a 69 year old name Gus and soon after we did it ashy black marks appeared on 2 people who did it and a girl's mom. And the board mentioned he died in a fire... They said the mark was painless though.

Supposedly putting a gold (or silver, I'm not totally sure) coin is supposed to invite only positive energies. I'm not about to test it though. Oujia boards are very foolish ways of inviting spirits into your life, and more bad comes from those things than good.

Dude, Oujia boards are okay.
AS LONG AS you ask for NICE and GOOD spirits!
You have to say a protection chant/prayer/whatever before doing it, otherwise
you may channel something bad.
Otherwise, it could be enlightening, honest.
I asked the Ouija board spirit that helped me (Kind of like the operator of it, the spirit that connects you to other ones). I chatted with him, Abner, for a good 3 hours. He told me so many things... I'll never forget it.

Whenever I open the box to my oujia board I always get the feeling that I 'woke it up.' Like it was sleeping or something. So I've never really used. Maybe, like twice I've used it. XD

i have never messed with one, but have always wondered how a manufactured toy can draw spirits from the other world. it just doesn't seem right. if this were true than the company would have a lot to answer for and would have to quit making them. i don't know, if it were that easy than more people would be claiming they were in touch with the other side. hmmm. guess i am playing devil's advocate on this one.
