Okay, here was something that just hit me... we're all-powerful and borderline godly... right?
Meaning for the most part we're able to get pissed off and make someone spontaeneously combust while the poor soul is cursing whatever god they worshipped in their fast fading lives...
Now here's what just hit me... you guys are all familiar with the consenting to death/ damage rule... but think of it this way...
Example...
Raven is engaged in a long and unsuccessful battle against Generic Supervillian A... Generic Supervillian A uses his awesome powers to cleave Raven in two... BUT Raven is equipped with an Oracle power armor which is extremely volatile. So if Generic Supervillian A destroyed the core to it, the bloody thing's gonna explode... say it does explode... does that mean he's entitled to somehow evade an explosion powerful enough to level a good portion of a three story building unscathed?

There's always a way. For example, Raven is a member of the LoTH, right? That means once your suit goes into that, we're automatically notified at the tower, and an emergency teleport out of your suit is set up, and you're immediately beamed (hopefully you're wearing something under that suit, lol) into the infirmary at Tactician's Tower.

Raven wears a black and red uniform otherwise identical to Marines, but the question is... destroying something like that with a melee weapon... does that pretty much mean that they're getting since you're dealing with equipment rivalling that of a medium assault vehicle all exploding at once? It's not like it's a slow explosion either, it's more like the span of less than six seconds after impact. If he manually initiates self-destruct, that's a different story (not to mention he can't because that was one of the features he removed because it meant "less room of a more powerful thruster.") But what I mean is that if Raven takes enough structural damage for his suit to explode while he's in melee, we ARE expected to go by the honor system and take the hit and escape with at least SOME damage unless we've got like... a barrier or teleportation or something, right?

Well, the system is like this: no one can kill you without your permission. If a person makes a death shot at you that if it hits, you're sure to die without some kind of parapalegic jumping out of his chair and screaming "It's a miracle" level escape, then you're gonna have to dodge or deflect the strike somehow.
