Hey everybody, I'm new to the guild here and I must say... I love it! heart
Now there has always been a question that has plague my mind... WHO IS NARUTO'S DADDY?!
Many say it Yondaime, and I agree with that, but why wouldn't anyone tell him?
Okay, so I know this isn't really a yaoi topic but you could look at it in that light, maybe they never told Naruto because he's into boys and that would "shame his family" *said in big scary voice of disapproval)
I don't know, it bothers me... what does everyone else think??

Yondiame is just TOO obvious of a choice. Kishimoto would never do that... he wants to throw his fans a curveball. Make 'em think a bit more. Catch the ones who didn't figure it out by suprise.
Same goes with the Obito being Tobi theory. TOO obvious.
I think that Naruto's dad is not going to be revealed, or end up being someone you would NEVER EVER think of, or suddenly show up later.

I think that Naruto's dad is not going to be revealed, or end up being someone you would NEVER EVER think of, or suddenly show up later.
Anyway, although Kishimoto would never be so plainly obvious, I do believe Yodaime has some sort of relation to Naruto, if not his father. However, I don't like the whole 'naruto is really Yodaime reincarnated' theroy. It is a REALLY good theroy, but eh, I don't know.

So unless he's super macho magical, I don't think that would work.

I dunno if this counts as a hint that Naruto is Yondaime's kid or if it just means that Naruto is slowly surpassing the Fourth, but remember when he was training with Kakashi-sensei, trying to make the rasengan a bigger attack, Kakashi was watching Naruto train and he starts seeing Yondaime through him.... Doesn't that make you wonder what Kakashi was thinking?

I think it's Yondaime too, but that is rather obvious, isn't it? Maybe it's someone we totally weren't expecting. Or just some random dude that hadn't shown up before. Ooh! What if it IS a new guy, and once he finds out how powerful Naruto has become (maybe once he gets a lot more powerful, anyway), he'll come and reveal the relation, and try to harness Naruto's power through some messed-up 'training' method? And then everyone would have to come save him, but Naruto would stop them from killing the guy because things he discovered while he was there proved the guy is really his dad, and he didn't want to lose his family! Oops, I rambled again. Sorry. sweatdrop

When he knocked Naruto out, before he pushed him over the cliff, he looked at the mountain carving of Yondaime and said "Sorry". Also, when Itachi and Kisame came to claim Naruto the first time, Itachi told Kakashi he was there to get "the Yondaime's legacy" and Kakashi knew instantly that it was Naruto. Seems pretty fishy right there.

Oh, I remember there was a note at the bottom that said the legacy was meant as in the "blood" legacy and not just his surpassor (sp?).... O_O' Has it actually been confirmed in the manga then?

There is some connection between Naruto and Yondaime-senpai. Weither its father/son or maybe even brothers, I'm not sure, but there is a connection. My question is: WHO THE HELL IS HIS MOM?

It hasn't been confirmed in the manga, and I really don't think it will be. At least, not until the end.
It could be possible that they're brothers, I mean, Yondaime was really young when he died, less than thirty, but that's a bit of a stretch.
As for his mom, who knows. Naruto only looks like he took after the Yondaime, but for all we know, he could look just like his mother and nothing like his father.
Now, for Iruka and Kakashi being his parent figures... not really. Iruka didn't really show an interest in Naruto until he got older and Kakashi only started to really pay attention to Naruto after Sasuke left. But, they are very close to him, on that I will agree.
