...+introduction
Hello and welcome to my [Lab 305] quest thread! I've been a super-secret stalker of the thread since, I think, around the time Kalec's fel essence was introduced. I'm a major fan of the shop and artwork, to the mental point where ideas for a concept kept poking me in the brain if I didn't record them on something.
*ahem* Anyway, this concept won't be started on, gold-wise, until I finish another quest I started waaay back in October. So this concept will more or less be in the idea/edit/critique stage until further notice. I'm going to use that time to spruce up the concept to make it sound...presentable! ^^;;
Now then, take a look around if you've stayed with this far. Constructive critisism is always welcome. But please be sure to follow any and all rules of the guild while you're at it biggrin
Concept is in the: Working Stage. (Yeah, I went down 2 stages. razz )

...+ fel essenceElectric Flame A bright, burning flame that gives off static discharges. Electricity ripples through the flame every so often, but the flame itself still gives off a warm, cozy heat.
Description:
-Kept in a bottle
-Flame is red and orange; the discharge is blue and yellow
-Glows red; but when it discharges, turns a fait yellow
-May cause static cling/static electricity Petrified Fair Wing A stone that seems to show the form of the left wing of a fairy. The stone's color is mostly black, with flecks of white, red and yellow. It shines a pretty white light, but the aura it gives off is obviously onimous. Not to say that the reason for petrifying the wing was evil, but the fairy itself wasn't such a...good person.
Said fairy was one of the mischevious types who liked to cause trauma and mayhem to humans by tricking them into believing that it was harmless and good. One day, however, it tricked a very powerful wizard without knowing so, and in a panic of escaping, had its left wing completely petrified. The anger from the fairy is felt whenever it's held by someone too long, although the 'good' light that emits from the wing is caused by the fairy's false appearence.
Description:
-Medium-sized stone shaped, mostly black, jagged on the edges
-Looks like a fossilized wing...and some sort of body part in it? O_o
-Enclosed in a bottle
-Glows white light, but gives off a terrible feeling when held for too long.

Eye color: Heterochromatic: Good example on wikipedia. - Left eye: Firebrick1 (#FF3030) - Right Eye: SteelBlue2 (#5CACEE) with DarkGoldenrod2 (#EEAD0E) iris Skin color: Misty Rose (#FFE4E1) Markings on skin: Clump of lava rock on the forearms and hands, various red tattoos around the neck and shoulders. A lightning bolt tattoo that goes through the right eye, with a larger lightning bolt near the middle of her chest. Name: Attilyn Nicknames: Atti, Kiddo, Shorty Gender: Female Fel Essence: Petrified Fairy WingSoul: Black Widow SpiderHair color/style: Bright blond with black and red streaks; Style is very long past the waist and free. Eye color/style: Heterochromatic: -Left eye: Blood Red with daffodil iris -Right Eye: Daffodil iris with dark iris Skin color: Fleshy, healthy Build (Body/Torso): Hourglass-type of body. Small hourglass, that is. Markings on skin: Complicated swirls on her arms, body art covering her chest and her neck. Her mannerisms are reflected from Gail Carson Levine's fairies, with an evil touch. Alignment: Neutral Evil or Lawful Evil - Looks can be very decieving.The "diet": Her diet is based off of how Levine's fairies are 'born': by a baby's first laugh. So, therefore, her diet will be laughter. The younger the person, the more full she becomes.

Deme can't bear to put it out, so he puts his sister in charge. Rhinn is in charge of 'putting it to sleep', but forgets to do so and accidentally leaves it near the soul bottle. The rest is history, or pre-history. -Deme smuggles a half-dead spider from work. Rhinn doesn't like it, but accepts its presence. Later that day, Rhinn leaves the soul bottle near said spider's cage, NOT on accident but because she didn't know what would happen if she put it near something that was almost dead. -Rhinn and Deme go on a tropical vacation! Deme thinks its funny when he smuggles the bone essence in Rhinn's bag, but Rhinn doesn't think so. Coincidentally, while the siblings are at the island, their hotal is next to an active volcano. Rhinn decides to take some of the rocks from said volcano back home with her.

Working on:
-Pictures: Banners are out, since I can't find the link to the program I used to make banners. Trying to find some references to gray elves, and trying (but failing) to make dolls that will have somewhat a resemblance of Lafmaeruil.
-RP Fix-up: Thinking of putting up an example of my rp-ing style, but can't find time to do it *shakes fist at school and short attention span* Will try to work on it during last week of school (cause I get out early). Dunno if aunt has a cpu though, so that will be a problem. (But I am so gonna write up a response to the big blow up of the lab *dork*)
-Fel essence: Will have to change essence around because another Gaian, Ro Chan, has an essence similar to mine. I know I've had my eye on something moon-related, but I don't want her to think that I copied her idea >_< (If you're reading this Ro Chan, just wanna let you know about this.) So, I have decided to change the essence. Possible ideas for another essences are: (Bold = Considering to use)
-Mother Nature's Blood (Might rewrite soul as well if it comes down to this)
-Harpy's Talon
-Seed of Life (2nd pick, if nothing else pops into head)
-Petrified Fairy Wing (A theme of magic and fantasy going down...I sorta like this one)
-Abyss of Darkness (Good soul + bad essence = confused Raevan?)
-Puff of Cloud Nine
-Death's Last Breath (Hmm....I could work with this...)

Okay, have decided on changing the essence AND the soul.
The essence will be the Seed of Life.
And the soul will be...wait for it...THE GRIM REAPER biggrin biggrin *bonks self*
But a problem for me is to choose which version of the grim reaper I should use @_@ I might just mix them all together, to mkae things easier for me. But then, I hafta think of a way how IC!Rhinn captures the soul of the Grim Reaper...that will be tricky. But I like myself a challenge. It gets my imagination gears working.

Hokay, have come up with a way Rhinn catches the Grim Reaper. Only it's not really the Grim Reaper, it's a replacement sweatdrop
Small Summary: Rhinn tricks the Grim Reaper('s replacement) into coming to "get her", but must stall for time (she asks for him/her to place the bottle around his/her as her dying wish (the limit is about 2 days, right?)) before she gets to Limbo. After 2 (?) days, the replacement dies, leaving the soul in the bottle and enables Rhinn to escape.
...That will be some story, if it ever actually gets written xD But it'll be interesting, nonetheless.

Just a little thing. I was thinking of using the soul of Death (/The Grim) too, but I realized- if it is used for a raevan, then how will people die? Also think about the powers of the raevan. The ability to kill people just like that....
It sounds cool, yeah. It just doesn't seem like a smart soul to choose, but thats just my opinion.
