I was in the entertainment forum earlier and someone posted that they heard that there was not going to be a second season on Sci-Fi. I was on the Jim Butcher website last night and there was nothing. Does anyone have a clue?

If you have never been on the Jim Butcher website, you should check it out. There is a short story on Harry pre-PI liscense when he meets Murphy.

The petition is well over 5000 signatures and has been resubmitted to TV execs, who have said they're amazed at the response. There's a quote on Jim's site which makes it sound hopeful there's gonna be a season two, but the announcement is expected mid-June apparantly...

Anyone heard anything? The only positives I have heard about any cancelled show this season is that they are reconsidering the cancellation of Jericho because people petitioned and sent nuts in!

This seems to be the official jim-buther.com message board thread on the subject. As of the 22nd of last month, no new news. Sounds like mid-June will be when they hear yea or nay.

As do I. Fervently. Mostly because that's how I get my Terrence Mann fix. (He plays Bob, and is probably my favorite actor, ever.)

OK, so it is officially mid month and still nothing!!!!!!!!!!!! I have looked around the usual spots and no news. We can only hope that "no news is good news?"

Just imagine how much more so it is for Butcher and Co.. Hey, maybe they are trying to move it to filming in Chicago? Mayor Daley would probably like it; he's been quite supportive of filming in Chicago, something his father, when mayor, attempted to kill. It would explain delays anyway (as would, you know, a billion other far fetched things).

All shows which have filmed regularly here except Oprah and random talk shows have died. ER films a few times a season and that is it. It would be nice if it returned to have a few Chicago exteriors at least.

Ohh I wish they'd hurry up! I was watching a repeat of 24 the other day and Paul blackthorne was in it, reminded me they haven't told us what's going on yet! neutral
