Well, in the future I know I can help out more.
Me and a group of Hmong students on my campus created the Hmong Student Association here at UCSC this year (or revived, whatever. The student association office lost the papers for the original HSA in the 80s). There's a core group of about 15 students and we're launching our first outreach in May. It's very ambitious for a student union to take such a big step in its first year, but we're THAT serious about reaching out to students.

Our hopes right now are to educate more Hmong students/refugees about our culture and modern society. We want to hopefully bring more students to UCSC so we can take part in bigger projects, such as taking action about the genocide in Laos.
