When: Now. Just after finding out Ginny is pregnant & that Vynnessia has paired up with Sesshomeru (sp)
Why: to talk about Endless & Liliana!! whee

It was an overcast day, full of gray clouds and erratic winds. Not a bad day for flying but a terrible day for sailing. So AearHwesta had battened down his beloved Hiril Anorfalf and returned home to play with the young ones there, intending to pay a visit to Haisyn's place later in the day to see Valefor & the young Seer if there was no rain.

The main room of the house was exceptionally large today as if anticipating the occupants' desires to be out of doors even though not many (considering) were sticking to that room at the moment. The Kirin Relm was sitting on a sofa with the opal egg she guarded watching the "happy little trees" painter & laughing. Hemi was curled on his back, wide light blue eyes avidly watching Aear & the four perma-kit females playing an aerial game of tag above him, "aided" by the kunkun Tien. The flutter of white, green, brown, & blue kitsu wings made quite a rustle in the echoing room but not as much noise as the kun's excited "Tag! It! Nenin!" or the girls' squeals of delight while their guardian's laughter boomed out jovially. Beneath them a small, yellow purse-kitty ran in circles alternately making excited whoops at their display and complaining that he wanted to play too & it was not fair for them to play a sky-game when he could not fly. Of course that made a recently three Theron very happy & he chased after Kiran with a playful giggle, his jivvin Ambar yipping excitedly at his heels. A twinkle of light from the beta tank indicated that at least Gaebor & his fairy were watching the show.

From a corner a tri-colored mini-kit watched the fun, a look on her face that showed she was debating whether to play or not just as a soot kit left her side to do just that, leaving puffs of soot behind him that disipated into the air.

A small brown volu with fawn markings squeaked at all the noise and activity then darted down the hall where the sound of happy female laughter could be heard coming from the direction of Trelweny's bedroom where she, Keyna & Ginny were discussing motherhood while cooing over the kyunru's two eggs and wondering what Ginny's would look like when they arrived.

((for the record: Weasley twin talaye are in their workshop; Audio, BL, & FTC Relm are in one of their studios, Interceptor with them. Liliana is in the potions room, Remus is in the study, Caits & Fams are out for a walk, Jez & HouseCats are in Trel's room, Myr's in shutdown somewhere recharging; Talagand is at HQ, Gwen's out; Adumialmîr, Rune, & Miaka are probably back in Trel's room, reg FTCs are at their shop... gah... that's enough for now.))

The knock at the door caused Relm to twist in her seat, Trinity to jump from hers, and those playing to pause a moment before seeming to explode with noise & energy. Well, not the angelic kitsu, but with four very excited kits and a kunkun dipping & dodging and wildly chattering up a storm Aear had his wings full trying to calm them down. "Yenenin!! Pelae!! Disa!" "Booyaka!! Someone's here! Someone's here to visit!" "We can change our game to include them!" "Long as they don't try to eat my nose." "We can put your nose in a sack, Crystal!" AearHwesta laughed even as he tried to encircle them all with his wings in a vain effort to calm them down. "Lasses! Lasses! Ye need to be a bit less... everything!"

"Open door! Open door!" Theron dashed to the door, wrapping his little hands about the handle & trying to push it open. Thankfully, it opened inward giving Trelweny and the kitsu girls a chance to rush from the back of the cottage. Laughing with worry & relief the human woman scooped up her son & with a glance to see that everyone was all right and accounted for as well as to show them Theron was fine Trelweny opened the door.

And blinked. "Valefor?" She knew the aeon from her game & some of her family's stories but had yet to see the kitsu herself. Then she grinned at the angelic kit's head poking out of the carrysack. "And... Seer, right? Aear's been going on about you, sweet thing."

Spotting the angelic kit, Trel-kit and the three winter permakits seemed to get even louder, beckoning Seer to join them in their games with paw & wing & word. Aear shot Valefor a bright smile, then a sheepish look of apology as he continued to try to keep the girls at bay. "Valefor-luv! Seer-lass! Neptune's beard, but I'm glad to see ye lasses." He had flown up to the ceiling & had pinned the santa-hooded female with Tien stuck in her hat against the ceiling where she clung to his head. On each shoulder, pressed against the east wall were a reindeer & a snowman kit. Trel-kit for her part was wiggling between his front paws where the sailor strained to keep her pressed against him. Ginny chuckled and Miaka looked close to being in stitches. Kiran and Lil'Soot did not even try to hide their amusement, falling on their backs in the middle of the room & rolling around in laughter.

Trelweny grinned, stepping aside. "Come on inside." "Nice to see you again, Valefor. How's everyone?" The red-headed witch was not showing beneath her robes yet, but there was a subtle glow about her that made her condition known.

"Was she now?" AearHwesta almost lost hold of the girls as a pleased smile spread across his entire body. Of course he did not have time to wait for a response from Valefor as Seer latched onto him. The lick she gave his toe made him squirm and then he did lose the captured kits that had been pinned behind his back. They laughed with delight & flew to assist Trel-kit's escape while Aear tried to answer Seer & "fight" the jailbreakers at the same time. "All that, ye say Lass? And aye... the Hiril Anorfalf be safe. Saw to her myself this morning, Aye?" 'Losing' to the jailbreakers the sailor twisted to offer Seer a place on his shoulders should she want it over his tails. "Good to see ye flying, Seer-lass. Will ye be joining us in play then?"

"Thanks!" Her beam of pride shifted as Ginny started to laugh anew at the question possed her. Trelweny set Theron down after the door was shut and with an arched brow for her curiousity moved to get Ginny settled commfortably on an oversized pillow. "This wouldn't have anything to do with Remus coming home muttering about girls growing up so fast and how he really should not have been watching something, would it Ginny?" The scholarly kitsu father had seemed more stunned than wouldl be warranted for Ginny's news alone in Trel's opinion. The slip she had into Remus' mind had been so jumbled it only confused her more.

Not having been there the previous night, the White SeeD kitsu listened in quietly & curled up around the pillow her pregnant 'sister' lay upon. Miaka smiled cheerfully, but she was thinking of how she had been with Tamahome last night & not much about the other details that might have escaped her. "Endless? The night-sky one that was nuzzling Lily?" Ginny nodded to both while snickering and Trel glanced at Valefor. Some half drunken memory seemed to remember Endless, and him being close to Liliana one time when the fullmetal kitsu was over.

"Poor Remus..." Ginny was shaking her head, Red hair flying and tears falling from her eyes. "He found out Vynnessia has a mate & Harry & I are expecting, then had to wrestle with thoughts of whether or not Endless was sweet on Liliana & whether he should give them privacy." At Trelweny's head quirk the witch scrunched up her nose in laugher. "It was all over his face, Trel. Didn't have to be a mind reader last night to figure out what was going through Remus' mind." Trotting over, Hemi wove between Valefor's legs in a friendly rub then flopped in front of Rune & Ginny to snuggle both females at once. Light blue eyes looked to Valefor. "Lily's smart but she doesn't know feelings." By now Relm kirin had given up on her show to watch the more interesting drama unfolding here, green eyes bright with intelligence.

"What's play?" "What's play?" Aear laughed at the question and Trel-kit & Clarice's incredulous repeat of it. Russet eyes crossed slightly to stay focused on the upsidedown kit quickly adjusting himself with a flash of worry when Seer nearly toppled to make certain that she would not. "Ah, my lass. Play's most anything that ye do to have fun. Flying, chasing things, sailing, hiding... all can be play, if ye catch my meaning."

Hemi giggled as his belly was tickled, playfully swaying his paws & swishing his tails about. He was nodding, but couldn't seem to get out something between the giggles. "I think it's because this is sudden to him, more than anything else. That, and as close as he & Liliana were all her life he probably hoped to be told more things now."

"That is an understatement, Ginny, but quite accurate. and it is certainly good to know my daughter is in good hands with her friends, though I trust her judgement. This Endless said as much about protecting her last night, if the shock has not affected my recall." Came a worn sounding voice from the Magic Door on the North wall. Remus Lupin stepped through the open doorway then closed it behind him, black robes swishing softly at his paws. Although he often looked haggard & overtired there was an added skittishness about the scholar. A look of hanging shock was etched onto his face, particularly in his over wide eyes. Ginny started at his appearance but was soon nodding at his words. Remus cast their guest a nervous & apologetic smile. "I did not mean to eavesdrop Miss. So happens I was headed to the kitchen for a bite. Remus Lupin, at your service." Hemi was already bouncing happily over, still beaming at the compliment the aeon him. "Daddy!! She said I was perceptive!"

The wizard nuzzled his youngest kit. It still was flooring him that Vynn who had been the youngest had a mate in the stoically quiet male he had once met. And he had suspected that ... perhaps your instincts for such things are to be trusted more he thought to himself. "I heard Hemi. She is correct -you have an uncanny knack where feelings are concerned." Sighing in sad/happy way as he let the baby snuggle against him Remus turned his dark eyes to Valefor. "Running from his feelings?" A father's interrest & concern softened his gaze. Ginny quirked an ear. "No good. Needs a confrontation." Brown eyes danced, plots forming in her head. Behind her, Relm nodded on the sofa.

"Yes, lovely-lass, making sand castles be play." AearHwesta was chortling softly, his ears flicking as the angelic kit's tails touched them. A chorus of female voices answered Seer's question with a resounding "Tag!" just before Trel-kit went into an explanation of how the game was played -adding in that when playing with others who could not fly it was played within reach of the ground to be fair.

"Nothing needed to ease my heart. Miss Valefor." Remus gave an awkward chuckle which had nothing to do with the aeon-kitsu's hug. He had grown quite accustomed to affection since befriending Ember & Nari. Hemi giggled and rolled on his belly scarf flopping to the side as he thought how nice it was his sisters were happy & that Liliana had friends she cared about & could snuggle with. "As Ginny correctly surmised, it is simply a lot to absorb quickly. You say Endless is running from his feelings..."

"So he needs to be stopped in his tracks with them. Ginny should do it." The red-head expecting mother turned to glare brown eyes at the kirin while Remus looked annoyed at having been interrupted. "Why me?"

Relm laughed, gold nailed hands gently stroking the egg in her lap. "You can always fall back on your pregnancy to account for sticking your nose into their business."

Ginny huffed. "As if I need to be pregnant to speak my mind!" Another laugh from the kirin. "Certainly not, but he might listen more to not upset you in your condition. That, and he already knows you." Relm quirked her brow at their guest, wondering what she thought of the notion as Ginny pondered the idea. Remus'annoyancewas fading to contemplation. "That may do something for Endless, but does anyone know where Liliana's feelings lay?"

Using his paws from between his father's legs Hemi was sliding himself between them sometimes hidden by the wizard's robes, sometimes popping out in front of his legs. "Liliana likes Edward and Endless best. They makes her happy & she talks much 'bout them." Remus nodded almost absently at that, having heard the two male's names fairly frequently since the fullmetal's disappearance when his daughter started speaking with him again.

Trelweny had been listening thoughtfully. "Would she even know if her feelings were love?" Would she know romantic love from friendship/family love in herself?

"Haha! That's it!" The santa kit, Jessica cheered & laughed as the adult angelic blinked from Seer's hop on his head and she flapped her darkgreen wings to join her 'sisters' in avoiding Aear. Tien was laughing at the flight bouncing of its new 'pelae' so when the sailor's eyes focused again he was able to tag the unsuspecting kunkun. It squeeled happily, loving to be 'It' and with a high pitched shriek of something in kunkunese dived at the brown kit below them. Clarice laughed and dodged in an upward curve as the kun barrelled past. Tien of course did not care, Falling into Trel-kit's sash, who shrieked & tried to shake the kun from her clothes to no avail. The kunkun clambored in the sash before being able to tag the kit "It!" Trel-kit flailed and nearly took the carrot nose off of Crystal as she tagged her. Coal eyes blinked, then grinning the snowman kit winked and flew after their bobbing kit-guest.

Ginny huffed. She was not too keen on being cornered into this. It was beyond the point that she probably would have done so anyway just because that was how she was. It just kind of irritated her to be picked for the duty because of it. And she could not truthfully blame her irritation on her pregnancy. "Fine. I'll do it." Brown eyes flashed, a warning not to push her. "Any chance you know when he'll be around HeadQuarters? 'cause it's sure to through up red flags if I stop by your house to do it, seeing as how I've not been there since the party." The red-head ignored her nephew's happy calls of "Take me! Take me!" even as his father tried to shush & distract him by blowing on Hemi's belly. It did not take a rocket scientist to see that Remus was still mentally digesting all of this. Which at least reminded Ginny more of the Remus Lupin she remembered from before.

"Even once he tells her... once he's confronted... he'll have to be persistant to first convince her and then to force her feelings to the service if she does not even know them." Trelweny mused softly, her eyes glassy and glazed. Theron spotting Seer on the ground gave a cry of delight and chased after her, glad to be in the game. Kiran & Amber joined him and in its delight of having more in the game, Tien lost track of the game they were playing and barreled straight into AearHwesta who was chuckling at the kit hiding behind him.

That the human woman showed no sign of noticing any of that had the mature members of the family sharing knowing glances. "If he loves her, does he have the persistance to keep at her to see if her love of friendship is more?"

"I do not know if I want my daughter "kept at"..." "She was in love with you, Remus. It's the only way."

Never having guessed, that bomb was too much for the wizard and he st heavily on his hindquarters, dark eyes wide in shock, stunned silence permeating from him like an aura. Chirping reasurances, Hemi snuggled his father. He understood a lot about feelings for a kit but the notion voiced was above his head.

"I'll have to check there sometime soon then." She wanted to say something about how everyone but Remus had known it in the family but thought that the scholar did not need to be broken more.

Remus nodded mutely as Hemi scampered up his robes to not be left behind when the wizard rose shakily and padded towards the kitchen. Ginny could not help snickering that he really still had not known and Relm was curled over the opal egg hiding her laughter in the cloudlike pillowing around it. Trelweny blinked out of her daze and quickly checked on Theron, but seeing him safe & laughing while trying to pet the colorful angelic pawing at his feet she was unworried.

Tien fell dazed to the floor, stirring as Kiran came and nuzzled it curiously. He had never seen the kun fall before. Aear lay down to watch Seer, nodding to Valefor with a look meant to reasure the aeon that he would see to the kit's well-being while Valefor was out of site.

Still airborne, the four permakits were disappointed that their game had diverted -though they all got a good laugh at Tien's crash landing- and had their heads together. Hushed chattering and laughter filtered down from them in the rafters.
