any normal Numa would probably be pretty concerned about the fact that someone they spent all day everyday with was laying motionless on the ground, with very uneasy breathing.
but the way Jedrek just sat there, it was as if there was no bleeding figure in front of him at all.
once again time held no meaning for him, having no wonder how long it had been since Calypso and Equis had vanished into the Swamp. the un-dead simply sat, claws crossed stiffly over one another, and waited for something different to happen.

Having left Equis behind, she trotted back out of the swamp, using her glowing fish as guides.. Plus she'd gone over this path several times throughout the day. She managed to get out easily enough. She looked around once the licorice trees ended, looking for Jedrek..
After a bit of searching, she got impatient. "Jeeedrek!! Jaycee!"

ears fanning back as something out of place caught his attention. he dragged himself to his feet, turning he followed the sound of his name being called not voicing his response in return, nor did he stop when Calypso came into sight as well. continuing to walk casually forward until he had reached her, then stopped and blinked slowly a couple of times.
"he did not damage you" he said stating the obvious.

Calypso smelled him before she heard him. She turned and looked him over for a moment, then sighed contently when he seemed to be alright. Well, for a dead guy. She smirked slightly and trotted over to him. "Of course he didn't, no one would dare harm this perfect body." She paused. "Except for your idiot nephew.." Her smile twitched downward for a second. "Is he alright?"

rolling a shoulder in response. he shifted his weight positioning his body to face the direction he came, and where he had left Jayce laying there.
"he's not woken up yet." he informed her.
slurping back the blood that built up in his mouth, "he is still breathin', and I have learned that is favorable"

Calypso blinked for a moment, then chuckled softly as she moved to follow him. Her nose turned up a bit as she heard him gurgle, but didn't remark on it. She'd really have to get used to that.. Her fish darted too and fro beside her, for a moment swiming up to examine Jedrek... But they didn't get too close, squiking in protest at his rotting smell before flowing back to Calypso and into her nicely smelling fur.
"Breathing is a very good thing... I'll have a look at him to be sure though."

paying no mind to the Fish, strolling casually on, tail dragging lazily on the ground behind him. blood still dripping from his own hips.
"Renem would want that" he said in response to her.
it did not take long for them to get into eyeshot of where Jayce lay.
though he was not exactly laying down anymore.
elbows struggling to keep himself up. forehead still pressed into the ground, he coughed several times. arched shoulders quivering as he tried to regain his composure

Though she had never met Renem, she had heard of him and knew that he was Jedrek's adopted brother.. She pondered for a moment, deciding that she should meet him sometime... She trotted ahead to peer down at Jayce, looking torn from being concerned and amused.
"Are you alright, Jayce? Anything broken?"

Jayce lifted his head at the sound of a voice. his skull stained with blood, eyes half closed.
he swayed slightly as he stared confused up at Calypso.
"n... no" he replied gruffly. trying to push himself up "what happened?"
Jedrek stopped next to Calypso sitting back down and watching his nephew struggle to his feet

She tilted her head, tail swishing back and forth. "Was that a no to you being ok, or to anything being broken?" She purred at him for a moment, then raised a paw to brush some of the blood from his skull. "If you lay back down, I'll tend to your wounds. But you have to let me touch you without biting my paw off..."

letting his head clear for a moment, he thought about her question again.
"I don't know." he answered again "I can't feel much."
he snorted at her next suggestion. struggling to try and stand again, "you'll probably try and poison me"
he turned his head to look away from her, catching Jedrek's eye.
becoming very still sudenly, he thought of the option... Jedrek treating his wounds.
he scowled again and turned his head back to Calypso, but not looking at her "fine..."

"Good boy." She sat and waited for him to settle back onto the ground. "Poisoning would be too much trouble dear. If I wanted to kill you I'd just snap your neck or something." She smirked and raised a paw. "Joking." Not like she was strong enough to do that anyway... when he was comfortable, or at least somewhat, she scooted forward and started running a paw over his back and legs, searching for wounds or breaks in bones. "Tell me if I touch something that hurts." She continued on to his sides, over his ribs, barely touching. She was being suprsingly gentle.. And dare I say it, motherly.

he jerked his head up at her comment as if to say "I dare you" with his external spine, he was sure that it would be difficult for even a full grown male. let alone little Calypso. then again, who knew what she was capable of.
his back was sore. so he would grit his teeth when she moved her paws along it. but nothing that felt broken, on his back at least.
he would growl however every time she got to close to a Gash he could not see on his body.
over his back where the tree was placed.
"that over grown bruit. so how did you get away? did you get Jedrek to shred him up like i told you to?" he asked

When he whinced or groaned she let up on the pressure, sincerely trying to be gentle with him. "Of course not, dear." She did not say 'dear' in an affectionate way.. if anything it was a teasing pet name. "Violence is so... crude. And I wouldnt want to risk getting blood on my fur. I merely persuaded him with my imense charms. He let me go easily." She looked over the wound carefully, frowning slightly. "Hmm.. Well, I suppose you just have a nasty cut, and a few bruised ribs.. Should be alright. Though you might want to get the gash sewn up.."

stitches... well that was not going to be so hard. Jedrek was always finding that human guardian of theres to patch him up when things stopped sticking together.
not struggling to get up this time. he moved himself into a less embarrassing and more comfortable position and just glared up at her
"he let you go? so for future reference next time you get kidnapped we just let it happen and let your Charm get you free?
