It cracks me up when people talk abuot hte Impala like it's a muscle car.
Both my parents drove Impalas. Why? Because their dad's got new cars lol. An Impala is just a family sedan. So the fact that John gave Dean the car makes sense, as of it's the kind of thing your dad gives you when he gets himself a nice sweet new ride.
Like when you get stuck driving the mini-van kinda. Not quite so bad, but there's a little lesson in car history for you.

I love the Metallicar and I about s**t myself with glee when the new episode aired and I saw Ohio plates tacked onto it! I was like 'Yay!' and whatnot.
