A rider's foundation is in a heel that is down. smile When you let your weight sink into your heel, that allows your seat to activate and be used properly, as well as secures you. Riding a horse is more like standing on it than sitting on it. When your foot is in the stirrup, the base of the stirrup should lie on the ball of your foot, right behind your toes. Any closer to your heel and you loose flexibily, and it can be dangerous. Next time you go for a ride, you might want to invest in shoes with a low heel. If something were to happen to you on that horse, your foot could slide entirely through the stirrup and you could be dragged. Shoes with low heels can help prevent that.
Cute horse. I love the Superman 'concho'. xd

It looks fine, but your positioning needs work, and you need to relax more. :3 I would think you are either in an Australian saddle or a very fit Western saddle there missy. The bridle is very...um...bright and colorful...but kinda tacky at the same time. xD Then again, I like my bridles to have little silver accents.

smooth sole boots are good, to add on to antlers safety tip. you can slip a boot out quicker the a tennis shoe or anything of that nature.
