On the outskirts of Lavender and Cerulean lies this place of power. This plant supplies all electricity to the entire Kanto region except Cinnabar. However, it has mysteriously been closed off to the public, and no one knows why. Investigate, and while doing it, catch some poke'mon while your at it!

"Haha, awesome!" Chloe grinned, giving the new Altaria a hug. Alkaid let out a coo, examining her new form for a bit before smiling.

"Looks like you won't fit on my shoulder anymore," Chloe laughed.

An angry buzzing caught her attention as soon as she entered. A jolt of electricity crackled by in warning, causing the air to snap and pop, and caused Chloe's hair to nearly stand on end due to the static.

"That's why I don't really keep an electric type with me," she complained, trying to flatten the frizzy mess the wild Pokemon had caused.

"Alright, Lantis! I think its time to see your first battle, time to give it a shot!" Chloe called with a grin, eager to see her legendary in action.

Lantis emerged from his Pokeball with a cry, circling the heavy machinery eagerly, prepared for battle.

"Alright, Lantis, he's about on your level, so don't take it easy, alright?" Chloe advised. Lantis nodded, facing off against the angry Magnemite.

"Start off with an Earthquake," Chloe nodded the go ahead, as Lantis rose to the rafters of the power plant, before dive bombing the ground, which began to tremble. Chloe grabbed hold of a railing, as the building began to shake. The Magnemite was caught up in the rumble, and was slammed into the side of a generator, which crackled furiously, releasing a shower of sparks.

{Super Effective, -160 Magnemite, 20hp remaining}

The Magnemite was super charged. Letting fly a powerful Spark, the jolt of electricity soared through the air, striking Lantis with a crack. The Latios let out a cry, shuddering briefly as electricity coursed through him. However, when it cleared, Lantis still flew, a bit miffed, but not so much worse for wear.

"Alright, now finish it off with a Dragonbreath!" Chloe called from her perch on the catwalks, as Lantis nodded, diving in close, before letting loose a fiery blast of air at the Magnemite. The electric type buzzed its protest, but fell to the floor soon after, unable to fight any longer.

Chloe hopped off of the Latios' back a short time later, deciding to investigate a strip of triangular batteries that lined the far side of the wall.

A figure in a strange suit that was reminiscent of a nuclear chemists suddenly dropped from the ceiling on a zip line. The strange thing about it was... he sort of dropped head first.

Chloe suddenly found herself face to face with an upside-down hanging man. At least she assumed it to be a man.

He hung there calmly (or at least it seemed calm, Chloe couldn't see his face behind the mask. All she could see were two green screens where she assumed the eyes to be).

"Well, I was searching for a few TMs. I heard that the Thunder TM was located here, and I definitely need it. I want to teach Lantis here how to use the move," Chloe explained, pointing to the Latios.

"I see you have the Guardian with you," the man nodded. Which looked kind of funny considering he was hanging upside down. Didn't these guys get a headache?
