Glaedr and his small company of knights in training were looking for the staff of light. "Remember that the key to becoming a knight is to lose all thought when in battle, but don't lose reason or logic in the process" Says Glaedr to his younglings. With that, Glaedr spread his wings and lept into the air. "Follow me, I have sensed a power signature close by," Says Glaedr flying off towards the horizon, "What you must do is prove yourselves that you will not back down from a battle, no matter how strong the opponent. If you can do that, than you will truely become a knight."

Several hours later Glaedr and his younglings land next to a cave. Two of the suns are setting, and thus it is getting darker. "In here, I can sense that we are close." Says Glaedr, stepping into the cave. The cave is cold and damp. "Stay close, I can hear something up ahead." Glaedr whispers. Moving ahead and drawing his black sword 'Destiny' Glaedr enters into a wide cavern. The walls are perfectly flat and in the middle of the floor, a single object stood in defiance of being moved. "The Staff of Light, so the legends are true, it does exist." Glaedr says moving forward. He reaches out a hand to take it when he suddenly blasted forwards. "Aargghhh!!" Glaedr roars and he is sent crashing into the far wall. "So, your the great knight of Pyros. Glaedr right?" Says o voice from where Glaedr was just standing. Glaedr gets to his feet and looks at his attacker. The strange creature has pinkish skin, with 2 pairs of wings, one pair are of the feather form, the other was like Glaedr's own wings. The creature stood on two legs. Stange metal outfitted the creature, Glaedr could feel the magic radiating from it. "Who and what are you? What business do you have here? And what berrzalio do you think your doing attacking me?!!" Glaedr asks savagely, pointing 'Destiny' in a threating way. "What I am is no concern of yours. What I am doing here though I will tell you. I am here to capture you and bring you before my commander. My name is Meelona." Says the creature. "Capture me? Thats funny! You won't capture me alive!!" Glaedr shouts. Runnig at Meelona Glaedr raises his sword to strike at the opponent. The strike never hit Meelona, instead she moved to the side and blasted Glaedr from the side, sending him hurtling back towards another wall. "Do you value the lives of your 'younglings', if so than surrender. Says Meelona from the far side of the cavern. "You won't hurt them!!" Grunts Glaedr. "I will if you won't surrender." And with that Meelona raised her right fist and clenched it, at the movement Glaedr heard roaring coming from outside. "STOP IT!! Please, I'll go with you." Glaedr says. "Wise choice 'Oh Great Knight'. Meelona unclenched her fist and the roaring stops. Meelona walks over and places her hand over Glaedrs hunched form. A ball of energy gathers itself under her palm than moves towards Glaedr. This is it. Good bye my kingdom. The ball of energy forms around Glaedr and lifts him into the air. "Oh and by the way, when we destroy the planet, I will kill all of your 'younglings' personally" After Meelona said that Glaedr thought about fighting back, but couldn't help but fall into the darkness of unconciousness.

Aikka lay under a canopy of trees, a little alcove of the beautiful things at the edge of the forest, on a ledge overlooking the royal city of Nourasia. The day was a clear one, as he stared through the foliage above at the soft red of the sky, the fiery crimson of the Nourasian star peeking through the leaves.
He often came here, if only to escape the neverending lessons that came to him as the prince and heir of the planet. This was his sanctuary from all that, a place where he could just come to sit and think. And staring at the red of the star, we was suddenly reminded of his human friend, Eva. Looking at the color of the bright orb, it shared the same red color as the girl's eyes. Not to mention her fiery personality.
Aikka sat up. It had been a while since he truly thought about, or heard from Eva, his crowded schedule saw to that. "I wonder if she recieved my last letter..." he wondered vaguely, eyes scanning over the royal city below.
Suddenly, though, he caught sight of something in the far distance. Standing with narrowed blue eyes, the smile from thinking of Eva dropped off his face. "What in the name of..." He muttered. Off in the distance, he saw a tinge of black trailing up into the crimson sky. Smoke. Aikka sensed that this was more than some mere occurence of fire. He couldn't place it exactly, something just felt..wrong. It was still far off beyond the city, but he then saw some sort of explosion in the same area. Gasping and stepping back, Aikka was about to turn and head back to the palace to report what he'd seen. However, with a sudden flash of wings soaring over the city before him, the explosions suddenly hit closer to home, within the city. Explosions were the last thing Aikka was aware of, before the explosions ruptured even closer to where he stood, winding him and knocking him to the ground and out of conciousness...

Zali left her team to explore. she wondered around the markets then cam to the big lake. Zali stood there watching the gentle it's gentle movements.

Glaedr woke up a while later not knowing where he was. "What happen?" He asked no one. I remember, I was forced to surrender for the lives of the younglings to the evil creature. But what good did it do, they were all going to die anyways. Glaedr thought. "Whats wrong 'Great Knight, feeling hopeless yet? Don't worry, your usefullness will end soon and you will get to see all your friends and family again in the after life." Said Meelona, laughing at the end. Glaedr jump at the voice, soon realizing that he was chained to the wall. "What do you mean, usefullness?" Glaedr growled. "Simple enough. We plan on draining all of your powers to add to our own. You are supposed to have great power, we will soon see, won't we. Meelona said with a little amusement.

Ali was getting a little impatient until she remembered something, "oh how can i get so stupid, Eva told me that if the door is locked and that there's either something for her or her dad, that i can enter the house.." she then got on her toes and reached up above the door searching with her hand " with a key above the door frame" she said until a key dropped to the ground "BINGO" she said and picked up the key, she then unlocked the door and entered the house "better stay here until she returns" she thought and headed for the kitchen to wait

Eva Wei gave Stan, Koji, and her father a small wave over her shoulder as she slipped out of the hanger, sighing once she was out of sight. In three days the Grand Prix was due to begin and the best racers from all over Earth would gather at the planet’s capital to test their abilities against each other. Eva was, of course, going to be joining. While any normal racer would be excited, the dual haired woman was far from normal. She had raced against the fiercest opponents on the most dangerous courses. An Earth race that outlawed the use of weaponry could never compare to the Great Race of Oban.

Tightening her gloves-she never drove without them-she slung a leg over her hover bike, an eighteenth birthday present courtesy of her father, and revved the engine. Pulling the small pink goggles resting on her head over her eyes, the racing champion twisted the handle and the bike speed off. Ali was supposed to meet Eva at the Wei household and Eva was already late.

Eva smiled as she road past the large fields, occasionally passing some cows or horses, that were a mere two miles from the city. It always amused Eva how such beautiful land could be next to such a large city. She had to remember to thank the farm owners who refused to sell their lands to the city even with civilization pushing at their borders. Sometimes she missed the beautiful, if a bit deadly at times, expanses of Oban. It was always so peaceful and untainted by the hands of humans who, even if they didn’t mean to, tended to ruin the environment around them. A nature fanatic Eva was not-she would never part with her Star Racer, her only way to fly, unless it was life or death-but she felt that her people could be taking care of their planet so much better, like the Nourasians. Eva chuckled as her thoughts once again turned to Aikka. It seemed lately that she couldn’t go more than a few minutes without thinking of him or the friends she left behind after the race. I wonder what they’re all doing right now. She thought, gazing up at the sky worriedly. For the past few weeks her racer instincts had been screaming at her that something bad was going to happen. Maybe she was working to hard.

Whoosh!

She was suddenly shocked out of her musings when a shadow flew over her at lightning speed and dove into the middle of the road. Eva yanked her bike to the side and skidded to an abrupt stop, her mind briefly remembering a similar move she had pulled against Toros. Looming before her was a strange cloaked figure who’s mere presence seemed to darken the skies. Shadows swirled around him dangerously and vicious, red eyes glinted under it’s hood, sending a shiver up Eva’s spine. Maybe her instincts were on to something.

“Who are you? What do you want?” Eva asked in a demanding voice, proud that none of her growing apprehension leaked into her voice.

“That is of no concern of yours, Winner of the Great Race,” it rasped, it’s voice reminding Eva strongly of nails on a chalk board. “Surrender or die.” That was it. No villainous mocking, no long winded speech, and no explanation as to why it wanted her.

A withered hand immerged from it’s gray sleeve and slowly rose, shadows gathering in it’s palm. The action was met with the roar of Eva’s engine as she whipped her bike around. “If you think I’ll come quietly, you may as well find a new target!” She shouted over her shoulder, opening the throttle as far as it would go and shooting off back to the city, hoping to be able to loose it in the maze of buildings.

A sudden realization hit Eva as she glanced over her shoulder, the thing flying only yards behind her. Ali was still at her house. What would happen if another one of these aliens started poking around her house or even the hanger?! I hope everyone is alright.

((My evil dude doesn't talk much but my next post will probably be from his POV so it should answer some general questions about him.))

as Ali waited she suddenly remembered something, "is it from that Aikka guy?" she thought but she was beginning to feel a little uncomfortable and headed upstairs, after a few minutes Ali returned to the kitchen until she saw a figure near the table "HEY!!" she shouted as she ran to the table, she grabbed the envlope "you're not gonna get this letter, and if you are..." she then darted out the door "YOUR GONNA HAVE TO CATCH ME!!!" she shouted when she was far enough from the house, as she ran she looked over her shoulder to see how far the thing was until she saw it right behind her "oh shot!!" she thought and ran as fast as she could until something wized by her and realized who it was that she turned around and ran after her "EVAAA!!!" she shouted waving the letter in her hand "EVAAAA!!! WAIT UP!!"
