The Forbidden Island
Here lies the first Island Kirigakure was built upon. Legend says the seven deadly swordsmen had their blades crafted here on this very island. Now, this is the base of operations for the ANBU and Hunter-nins of Kirigakure. The island has been split into two sections. One for the hunter-nin with level plains for terrain. The hunter-nins have many buildings for poisons, needles, and other storage. while the ANBU are covered with dangerous terrain and many failing environments. Here is where the ceremonies and training of both this Shinobi groups take place. These Shinobi are rarely seen on the main island for they do not leave unless on leave from completing a mission, or ordered to by the Kage for visiting shinobi. This Island is home to the bravest and nastiest shinobi in the vilage. They are often known as blood walkers for their grim appearance. In the back side of the island lies the ANBU HQ. Each cell is given a room to live, above each members bed lies a shelf inside the wall that opens with that members hand print. It holds their ANBU outfit. Each cells door only opens with the unlocking of a members weapon. The center of the HQ holds the meeting room for ANBU teams, they all have separate doors. These only open with the ANBU leader's weapon.

Reiko stepped onto the island, taking the time to thank the fisherman who had brought her. She supposed from now on that there would be assigned boats to bring her to and from the island. But for now...She just wanted to be here without all of the hassle that she'd have to deal with in her new leadership position. A sigh ripped its way out and the normally placid expression was replaced by one of slight annoyance.
Not so long ago, she'd been manhandled into being the Mizukage. Well, thank heaven that Seiko had been put up for it as well -- something she'd pushed with all of her power. Now, instead of being able to relax, her 'experience' as they'd put it had roped her into becoming the leader of an ANBU squad. She shook her head. Really...she wasn't sure that she'd been all that effective at leading a class of students...much less full grown ANBU. As a hunter-nin, she was used to working alone. Now...now she'd be responsible for lives other than her own. Her heart constricted. She was not worthy of being responsible for the lives of others. She had proved that long ago when she was still nearly a child.

Karite had picked up Reiko's chakara and jumped off the water in a intense pant. He had expanded alot of chakara even for himself to get here quickly without boat. He also had to carry the missing-nin from his teams first mission. He hated luggin the extra weight but Kages ruling was the boy lives. The boy was actually really quite ever since he saw his sensei's death, but hey wasnt Karites problem.
When he hit the island he was behind Reiko. He had planned it perfectly. He was in a massive rush to get the boy off his hands, but first he had to inform his boss about the orders from the kage. "Boss, the kage needs all ANBU members to report to his office as soon as possible. The tournment is being held in Kiri and he wants us to shaporn it in a way. I have already gotten Rei and I am on my way next. I will see you there." With that karite turned still dragging the silent boy who was bandaged up pretty good and jumped onto the water using a body flicker jutsu back to the main island.

Startled from her stroll through the past, Reiko turned. She smiled politely to see it was Karite. True to his usual habit, he was short and to the point. Then he was gone. She didn't even have time to question him about the young man he was carrying so tightly bound in his arms. She cocked a brow but made no further comment. She thought, then, about his message. The Mizukage needed them for this tournament? She secretly hoped that he wouldn't require her to stand watch the entire time, at least. She had hoped that she might participate in this whole thing. It had been quite some time since she had been able to use her ability to its fullest. So thinking, she hailed the boatman that she saw near the waters. Time to head back. Little though she cared to.

Karite landed on the island and wasted no time on going in to the rooms of his deceased shinobi and collecting their headbands. One he could not touch was Bosses, she was the best shinobi he had ever meet and his squad leader. He slowly closed the section of wall which held what was left of her legacy. He turned to pick his other teammates headband Rei, but it was missing, which meant he was either alive or died with it. It brought some hope for his generation. Thinking of when he had to be back he laid the head band down on the edge of the beach and let the water take them off to sea. When he felt they were far enough away he prayed for them and began to form handseals. "Wolvine art: Thousand Cherry Blossom Jutsu!" Suddenly the water began to sink down around the headbands and divide into little petals instead of slicing them to ribbons like it should have it carried them out further into the sea far away so they may truly live in the mist like a Kiri shinobi should. "I guess my work here is done."

Karite reached the black sanded beach and shook the water droplets from his Hair. It seemed like he was the last ANBU in all of Kiri. Not the best feeling in the world. He locked in his Katana into door number seven taking the elevator down to his room. Lying down in his white bed after fixing himself a drink did him some good. "Vodoka...the only drink with the burning power of fire"

Squinting his eyes hard like he had just been hit in the jaw was the only thing that made it look like Karite was still alive. He rustled his hair before putting it back into its tight ponytail. Raising his mask above his nose. He grabbed his headband and placed it over his eye and stood cracking most of his body on the way up. The sun was up and he had training to give to his kids. Dressing quickly and grabbing a green apple for its sour taste he walked up to the elevator and locked the door behind him removing the Katana. "Time to give those brats that mission." Karite said walking across the ocean back to the beach.

On the island Banji roared loudly. He had just caught his first meal by himself since leaving his pride. He was alone now and it was time he took care of himself like a lion should. Beginning to rip the flesh from its previous owner he heard a slight click come from the woods.
Touji was there. She needed meat to feed her cub, but wasn't sure if this new comer to her territory was worthy of being lunch. She knew he was alone. She had lived on this island long enough to know what to do when trouble was around. She had procured a sixth sense about it. Turning she walked off, a feast would be along soon. She could handle a few more moments with out it.
Banji watch closely with his gold eyes till the wolf disappeared. When she did he went back to eating his meat. He snorted lowly as if to say, "Thats right, keep walking."

Makoto trailed behind his mother, Touji, letting every sound and movement of the forest capture his attention. Sitting behind Touji as she stopped to look at something, his attention once again started to roam from place to place. The pup’s ears began to twitch as his golden white trimmed eyes lit up with curiosity to the movement on the ground near his paw. He quickly stood up and sniffed the ground were his paw once was. Makoto shuffled the loose earth under his nose to revile a long fuzzy green worm. He tilted his head out of curiosity as his ears peeked at its strange moments. The worm didn’t seem dangerous so he guessed it would be okay to play with it for a while; Makoto once again began to sniff at it pushing its back end along a little. It shifted its direction and tried to speed up quicker as the wolf then licked the worm. “Hmmm, that taste strange, but I like it.” Makoto noticed the hunger that he had forgotten tugging at him again, but he was drawn from the feeling as he noticed his playmate escaping; he lifted his tiny paw and drugged over the caterpillar to bring him back. Makoto eyes shot a strange look over his paw as it felt a new feeling. He lifted his paw slightly and noticed his playmate wasn’t there anymore; he sniffed the new thing and quickly lifted his head as he felt a gooey substance on his nose. “It smelt like the worm” He began to think but the strong sent on his nose started to get to him, he started to dig and rub his nose in the ground to get rid of the gooey stuff.
Makoto looked up as he heard footsteps, mother was on the move again, and he quickly followed after her.

Touji moved through the forest silently. It was starting to get dark and hunting during this period was easier then at night. Looking behind her at her cub she figured it was time for him to start learning the wolves of an alpha male. being her only cub Makoto was special to Touji but that would not stop her from being hard on the cub. Setting a low growl in her throat to signal the cub to follow she was ready to teach him to hunt. This kill would belong all to him. He had watched her kill enough prey to know how things went down. This would be his first kill and all his. Tonight two animals would be going down for the kill instead of one.

Makoto stalked after his mother in his normal state of wonder, he loved listening to the different sounds of the twilight air. His gaze locked with his mothers then his eyes smiled and his tail began to wave freely behind him. Picking up his speed he walked closer to her, he loved the warmth he felt when they were near.
The runt’s ear began to flicker at the sound of Touji’s vibrating throat, was she growling at him? His ears folded back until they looked flat on his head, and he curled his tail under and he came lower with the earth, if possible. Had he done something wrong? It took him only a second to realize it was hunting time, he found himself relaxing again. He loved hunting with mother, though he didn’t do much.
Settling himself in the grass he lay on his belly, and began to let his eyes wander at the landscape in front of him. It didn’t last long sadly, he’s ears began to twitch at a sound, one he’s heard before. Getting up from his spot he began to search for the source of the familiar sound.
Dragging his nose though the earth he could tell he was getting closer to the sound, it began to ring louder in his intrigued ears. The young wolf began to grunt as something touched against his nose, that same thing was now jumping though the air. Makoto’s tail wagged happy to show he recognized the bug, it was a hoppy!

Makoto turned to face his mother to she how closely she was watching, well if she hasn’t gotten upset yet maybe he could continue playing a minute longer. The white furred pup knew what he was suppose to be doing, but the music the hoppy played was like the rhythmic sound of an spellbinding tune to the dancing snake in a basket.
Makoto pinned his ears close to his fluffy head as his tail began to wag slowly in the grasshopper’s musical rhythm, bit by bit the wolf got closer to the insect. He pounced! And once again he watched as the hoppy got away, leaving him only to the grass beneath his paw for company.Picking himself up from the ground he began to look around for his new playmate, it was nowhere in sight unfortunately. His tailed dropped in disappointment.
Makoto would try to finish his waiting now he guess, he did want to please mother after all. After returning to his spot the five pound wolf quietly waited for something to come by, though once again he didn’t wait long once he hear his friend return.

Karite walked onto the shoreline and smelt the thick disgusting smell of chaos and death that always seemed to linger on this island like the plague. His blue Wolvine eyes surfaced around the thick jungle that seemed to grab out at him. He took of one of his leather gloves and whistled towards the Jungle while it was a higher frequency then most could produced it traveled much further as well. It was all he needed to do to bring Touji to him. She had know that whistle well for many years. Turning to his team he smiled. "Dont get scared yet what your about to see happens a lot. There are many wild beast on this island. It use to be a training ground four the Seven deadly swordsmen of the mist and they would hunt them but they are long gone and the Hunter-nin and Anbu don't bother with them." As he said this four creatures bursted through the brush only two he wanted.
Touji was the first creature to pick up on Karites signature. Picking her cub up by his fur she speed through the trees as fast as she could. The jugle becoming one big blur around her. Looking to her side she noticed the same lion from before. He was with a cub as well, probably the leader of the pride. As long as he did not try anything she would be fine. Noticing that it began to get a little brighter from the moon hitting the shore she erupted from the green veil of the jungle and landed behind Karite. She sat down her cub and sat herself down as well. Her beautiful white and blue fur shown proudly through the moonlights complimenting gaze. A thing of pure beauty she was.
Banji had heard the whistle and knew that it might have been his old master. A Tategami by the name of Kouko. Growling towards the only cub left alive in his pride he ran towards the sound. He had been waiting three years for his return ever since the masters had killed off most of the lions and his master. As he ran through the jungle his mane showing red through the jungle he noticed the wolf. She was always a problem. A great hunter which meant competition for Banji. As the light peered forth he jumped through the jungle mask and roared loudly as he landed to the right of Karite. Again it was the Wolvine monster. He was the brother of his master which meant no harm but he did not seek him out.
Karite smiled as all four creatures appeared as they always did. "Team, the wolf you see is Touji my partner and good friend. Her cub is Mokotto and he belongs to Mizu. The lions over there you seem are Tategami breed, but for those of you who don't know Tategami's are rarer to find then Wolvine. There only three in the entire world registered in a village. Two in Kiri. Hiro and Sanbai. Those two lions belong to them. While the older one wont be as willing as his old partner use to be Anbu before mistress killed him. The younger has never had a partner before so it will be easier." Looking over at Banji he shook his head in a sad manner. Knowing the lion would understand and the Children wouldn't have to know who that Anbu was.
Banji looked almost dead when he saw Karite's expression. It sadden him, but he died fighting the good fight and that was the Tategami way. Looking towards the moon Banji began walking towards the water. He looked high and let out a Roar that could of shook the heavens. In remembrance of his partner who was no longer with them.
