Naomi Tinuveil / Naomi Kuiveya = Same person

While being here I can actually say, that I've enjoyed listening to christian claims of what they beleive in their hearts to be right. The fact that you follow the word of God so passionately is very inspiring to me, as a writer. And while, some of you for a split second may be thinking that this is starting to sound like a "Thank you for converting me" letter, it's not, I just wanted to let everyone in the guild know, that it is good to know that people nowadays will still fight for something they hold dear to their hearts (even if that means tearing me to shreds for one thing or another, lol)

I know quite frankly that I've been a pain in the butt to some of you, and and a confusing question to others. So maybe, since I'm still deciding whether it's safe for me to stay here or not, lol, Maybe I'd thought I'd answer some "personal" questions about why the heck I'm even here in the first place.

* I needed some insight into just why certain christian groups can be, well to say the least, kind of violent sometimes. When I know that I've met some very decent and some very caring christians.

* I also wanted to see just how deeply people of christian faith were affected when a strict non-believer was in their midsts and argued their points from a different perspective.

* I've never been here to convert any, I don't think it's my place to do so. If you christian, be proud to be christian, just don't disreguard the fact that there are other religions out there to learn about. I'm not saying convert, I'm just saying learn.

* Recently I've been getting attacked as if I'm coming in here to start trouble on purpose, and that really was not my original intention; I realize after taking a break and coming back to read some of my original posts, that maybe I probably did start some trouble from time to time. But in my only defense, I am simply trying to defend my belief in my gods, as you are defending your belief in your God.

There was more I wanted to ramble on about XP but my brain stopped working . . . I've been at work all day, so my brain feels like scrambled eggs, lol.

Anyway as my parting note ~

Thank you all "Warriors for Christ Guild" for your emense tolerance, your wonderful insight, and your amusing arguments. ((And even though it was a pain in the but, and I got a little whiny and quite frankly stopped near the end. I wanted to thank Brad for bashing me with the bible in the other thread. I admit he won that round, I can't keep up an argument for that long, it makes my brain hurt after a while XP ))

Anyway, I might be around, but I mostly just to read posts and gain more insight, I'll keep the trouble makind down to a minimum.

God Bless
"Peace & Harmony"
~Ms. Nam

((oh and on a side note, you guys do know I grew up half-catholic right?!?! lol ))

Even though I really don't know who you are/what religon you are, I'll just say I do like to learn about other religons as well. To me, christianity isn't a religon, but I have learned so much from different friends about reality. People judge based on apperance usually, with my hindu friend, they do the same. She goes to a hindu church(or Indian, I'm not sure) That doesn't mean she cannot be a christian. I've met someone who's family forced upon them to be a buddist, when she really enjoyed learning about the bible and believed that Jesus was her savior. I think it's the same as my hindu friend, some people merely grow up with that atmosphere and defend their faith, but when they are 18, everything changes. Just a random thought o_o nice to meet you by the way XD

Very admirable. It's a good idea to research. I do have to say, however, that you cannot trust everyone that claims to be a Christian. 80% of America claims to be Christian, but only like 5% of that 80% evangelize. It's common knowledge to Christians that there are hypocrites among us. At least half of Americans that claim to be a Christian are liars-- and that's being generous.
Anyways, I'm glad you've come here and I hope you decide to look into Christianity further.

Nah I can respect the fact that everyone has serperate opinions. And I'm sorry for the rude things I said in the Wicca thread.

Whoa. I respect people, but what kind of horrible person would I be if I respected the very things that I believe send people to Hell, such as their respective religions and/or philosophies?

What can I say. I just feel that everyone has their rights to follow the path's they choose, and I respect that. I am a person who loves philosophy. I don't like people telling others they can't do what they feel is right. I guess I can never be a real christian until I drop this way of thinking.
