Ummm...I'm pretty sure that this has been done, and is just another "What's your favorite character?" thread. But, I won't lock it yet.
Aeris, because she is the greatest and the Cetra need to repopulate the planet.

It would have to be Yuffie since she more than likely would have the survival skills to make it. And shes not exactly that bad looking anyway.

haft to say Yuffie becus she cud probele servive the longistbut if a bade guy showd up sad we wud be dun for so if bad guys on the isl i haft to say cloude or how ever you spell it but ya i must go with yuffie if its serviveng skills

Damn, I have choices... Bipolar disorder and multipersonality disorder make it really hard to make decisions...
It's a three-way tie between Aeris, Vincent, and Cloud. Tifa would be there, but, even though I really like her, I doubt a bar tender and an idiot like me could survive too long on an island.
Aeris herself is well adapted to magic, so she could start a camp fire, help create barriers to protect from animals, and is overall someone I wouldn't mind hanging out with for a long while. Even then, she's magical, she could probably take us out any time and it would be like a vacation.
Same with Yuffie. Nice ninja skills could help us out a lot there, and her use of magic can help us get out should she have a summon.
Vincent, not much he can do, but more that I'd have a billion and two questions to ask him before he went chaos and we got our asses outta there...
All in all, though, gotta flip the three sided coin and go with Yuffie. Have some fun, and eventually get our asses off the damned island.

dam id have to choose either Tifa or Yuffie...
Tifa: she can make the drinks and i'll catch the food and cook it while we chill on the beach. and she is quite the scenery cool
Yuffie: she's got the survival skills that would be much needed if we wanted to survive and eventually get off the island. and she can show me how to shuriken really good. and the same as tifa... she looks great cool

(If he were still alive) I'd pick Zack. He's strong, smart, reliable... and easy to get along with. Not to mention hot. lol
But really, he'd be my first pick.
XD There are a few lined up though, but for dumb reasons. xd

I'd choose Vincent. Why? So he can teach me to be a bad @$$ like him... ok not really a bad @&&, but to be cool like him.*
