I heart this manga! the anime is okay, but only 26 episodes, that only include 6/23 volumes. Its very moving and cute. heart

Well, the anime did go past volume 6, just the events of volume 6 take place at the end of the anime.

*sigh* But the anime really did leave out all the best parts. The manga really is better. And so good...Kyah! I loved the ending! But now I miss it so much! Natsuki Takaya needs to start another manga!

oohhh this is one of my all time favorites! I used to be called Hatori-san because I was so obsessed with fruits basket :p lol The anime was good but it wasn't my favorite. They left a lot of good stuff out. Plus we didn't get to see all the characters! I prefer the manga much much more. I'm so sad that it ended though! I wanted it to last forever! I cried it was so good lol I'm such a sap for those type of things crying heart sweatdrop

i haven't read the whole series yet, there are only 16 books out in english so far... but i found out the ending on wikipedia.com... the end's sort of weird... and the fact that the head of the house is a girl is even weirder...

but isn't there a second season to the anime to finish things off? they left the anime pretty open, or at least open enough so that they could add on more stuff and maybe follow the manga in the ending. i thought i heard of a second season definitely being made...but maybe i'm remembering wrong as to how definite it was sweatdrop ....

yea... they did left the anime to the open, well that was because they didnt finish the manga yet (i think?), but its really good. the ending was so touching though 4laugh
