I'm pretty sure this will be looked at as a stupid question, but does anyone remember how long it is they say to wait before reporting unreturned gold. I bid on an item, didn't win the bid and haven't received my gold back yet. Is it a three day wait?

o_O Is it really possible to lose money bidding in the exchange?
I've pretty much given up on the return of my gold. One of the many reason I hate bidding. xd

You can't report that.. You placed the bid, you have to wait it out.. If you try to report it, you'll get a warning.. The screen that confirms the amount of gold that you want to bid is for this very reason.. The Marketplace TOS has all that in there, you should read it..^^..

That happend to me before, eventually I got my gold back. I don't know how long it took though.

Leon_Akiri You can't report that.. You placed the bid, you have to wait it out.. If you try to report it, you'll get a warning.. The screen that confirms the amount of gold that you want to bid is for this very reason.. The Marketplace TOS has all that in there, you should read it..^^..
I did and with no such warning. The mod I talked with said it went through and my gold was returned.
o_O Did you misunderstand what I wrote? I'm not new to Gaia. I understand the ToS fully. I did not win the bid and want my gold back. There are no penalties for nicely asking a mod about unreturned gold from a bid.

Hm, I may have misunderstood you.. I thought you said you bid on an item and when you asked for them to cancel the bid, they said no, and you wanted the gold back.. If that was the case, that's what a Mod warning would be for.. Apparently, that wasn't the case then?..

No, that wasn't the case. I've had people do me that. I find that highly annoying.

I lost 20,000 gold when I bid on an item and the user was banned before the bid period was over. (the dreaded transaction lock message)
The gold never re-appeared.
I do not bid on items anymore.

I'm having issues with that now. I really hope it comes back or else I'm going to be out a LOT of gold. I would love to know why it takes to long to get your gold back anyway.
