Greetings...

I am Animatratus, I am one of the older members of Gaia (not in time of being on the site, but in the so-called reality that we exist in outside of this circuitry).

I tend to be a complex yet simplistic being, that like many others has a battle within between his heart and mind.

I've seen alot in my life, some good, some bad, all have made me who I am today. I'd like to think I am a good person, but I suppose that is subject to the opinions of others.

Oh, and I know why the sky is blue. wink

Hey There!

Why is the sky blue? I don't know why...no one ever taught me that in school. (I'm in grade 11 as of right now).

What kind of science do you like???

Love Sharima

Well, from what I know. The sky is blue because the ultraviolet radiation from the sun in combination with the atmosphere filter all of the colors of the spectrum out except for blue.

Though I am no expert.

Astronomy is my favorite.

Awww, thanks for the welcome and the invite *hug*.

Catz eh? Well... people call me Ani, so that's what I tend to go by.

I suppose I could type alittle more detail. Will do so in next post.

Alright... more detail... hehe

I'm 37 years old, from Seattle, Washington USA.
I am part of the stereotype of people that have met someone online that they have feelings for. Though I suppose when I met her in 1997, it was less "accepted".
I am a published poet, been published in 6 books and various other media. I started writing poetry as a way of dealing with my father's death. My father died of malignant melonoma (skin cancer) that spread to his liver, in 1991. Unless you have witnessed a close love one die in slow motion, losing weight slowly until they barely could be recognized as who they were, you would not understand. Forgive the detail, I suppose it's just something within me that will haunt me for the rest of my life. I miss my father.
I'd like to think that I have a decent life, though I am at a point where I am somewhat in a rut so to speak. You know how sometimes you just need something to kickstart you into being excited again? I know this is a bit melodramatic, forgive me.
I believe I exist to make a difference, I hope I am doing a decent job.
I am a mountain biker, computer graphic artist (amateur), digital photographer, and digital musician (compose, sequence and program electronic music via PC) by hobby. I enjoy most all sports, but admit that I am not that good at basketball, after all "White Men Can't Jump!" wink

awe, I'm sorry to hear about your father.
crying

I would of been torn if my Mom's cancer was too far advanced that they wouldn't of been able to help her. IT's bad enough she has all these other health problems...it breaks my heart serioulsy.

crying crying

But on a happier note, I think it's amazing that you have published poems in 6 books! Awsome!! I also just love to bike ride, although recently I haven't due to the fact that I lost the codes to the locks on my bikes and I haven't been able to get them out.
I need a bolt cutter or something.

Thank ya... everything we deal with in life is supposed to help us, sometimes it's just difficult to know just how. *hug*

I should go biking soon, when I can. hehe just haven't had the chance.
