Well, there's all this talk about either a supposed movie/second season/yadda-yadda to Eureka 7 in the forum tonight...
(Yeah, as if you hadean't noticed.)
And, I might as well try to contribute to this theory:
This is the cover of the 12th DVD volume, and it seems to be totally different from the plot of the series.
The fact that Renton has the coralian wings suggests that it takes place after the series since he becomes a coralian in episode 50.
Discuss plz.

And you weird. rolleyes Hmmm... But scannning the webbernet the past week has lead me to a question. Supposedly in the Japanese manga Domonic and Anemone have a little girl seen at the end, and Eureka and Renton have a boy. But, why would AnemonexDomonic's child have blue hair? Oh well, whatever.I'm weird? I'd like someone to explain that. razz

Maybe the creators are trying to make you freak out and make up weird theories to the covers and other things they do. They just want you to think there's something behind that art when in actuality there isn't a real reason at all and that's the only reason they made it!! O__O

Well I think that if they do continue on with eureka seven, they should just make a movie of what happens after the show, bring in Hollands kid and just develop some new thing or have another series with the same characters but do a bit of a time skip and then explain what's going on. I hate it when they use kids and get rid of the old characters, because they could go on forever with Renton being like his dad and then his son being like him and on and on and on......

And you weird. rolleyes Actually this is the cover for the final DVD collection. and further more thanks to a wonderful site Olorin linked to recently I found out that this is the children of Renton/Eureka and Dominc/Anemone. The boy is Eureka's, the girl is Anemone's. Apparently in the 6th volume of the manga we'll find out about the girl bing Anemone's. but yeah, it has nothing to do with the final episode and it's obviously a reference to the fact that the stories not over.
