i got bored and decided to make a banner... well i used the theme of the character selection for the battle system and the characters of an archer and a warrior... so any way what do some people think??

Having 1 color and 1 black n white creates more of a zen balance but the shadow boxing on the edges obscures detail from the art itself.. Instead of a transparent shadow I'd use a Solid Gradient and move it back from the text or reduce the text in size to keep the effect from obscuring the image.. then I wouldn't mess with the rest. ^_^ Behold^ Constructive critisism
