Elawi wandered the forest her sweet trained voice dancing on the wind. She loved nothing more than to sing as though a princess strolling through her private garden void of thought and worry.
"On the breeze it carries me, lite as a leaf yet fast as a bee. My heart is crying out in glee! Says the song of the marry me!
On faster and faster strait through the glade,to the two legger village where drums are made. My heart is crying out in joy! Says the song of the marry two legger boy!"
Elawi skipped a bit her heart was full of joy today more then ever she thought. Though in her merriment she did not know something was near watching her every move. Elawi flopped to the ground and rolled giving a sigh of happiness. She suddenly heard a crack of a twig near by she lifted her head and looked around just as she thought herself to be hearing things out from the shadows pounced a full grown mountain lion and a mean looking one at that. She rolled swiftly to her feet and started to run she let out a cry for help she wasn't to much of a fighter and didn't know where to go. The lion gave chase trying to keep up with her zigs and zags.

Houndoom was strolling along a forest path, exploring a new found land. The greenery was enchanting but as he heard hoofbeats growing louder and louder every time he changed his direction he was also sure he heard growls. No sooner did he see a beautiful cream colored unicorn running for her life. Her eyes reflected fear, and an immense amount. Close behind her was a mountain lion keeping close to her tail and gaining speed. 'I must help' he thought immediately as the unicorn dashed past the tree he as standing behind. As soon as he was sure the unicorn was leading by a head, he whipped out his tail and watched as the lion staggered forwards and crashed onto the muddy path. Head first. It recovered after immediately after he positioned himself before the unicorn. Houndoom stood his ground nobody was about mess up his exploring of the woods. Especially after he heard that beautiful song.

With a gasp Elawi whirled around to see the strange stallion that has aided her. She watched as the mountain lion stood and shook off the mud it turned a glare towards Houndoom before roaring and taking off in the opposite direction after being sent for a loop rabbit must have been its new target. Elawi flicked her ears forwards panting slightly from running. Elawi tilted her head downwards she was a shy type when she first met someone but she quickly summoned the courage to speak all things considered.
"Thank you kind sir you saved me, are you alright?"

Houndoom watched as the mountain lion took off, he was glad, now he could explore in peace. But just then he heard a voice, female. He turned around to see the beautiful unicorn talking to him, "Yes, i am alright, are you?" he said raising an eyebrow at her. "Houndoom, temporarily at your service my lady," he said bowing down to her. He straightened up and stomped dirt off his hoofs. His tail swished lightly from side to side with style as he asked, "And you are?"

"I'm fine thanks to you." Elawi looked up in time to see Houndoom bow which surprised her not many stallions did that these days. She bowed down herself in respect to his greetings though normally she was to nervous to remember such formalities. Raising her head to look at Houndoom she cracked a cautious smile as she tried to be less timid around him.
"My name is Elawi, its a pleasure to meet you Houndoom." Elawi's tail swished a bit as she took in a better look of the stallion his tail was almost like a kalona's and he had horns too,but he was too nice to be a a kalona so was he a half breed? Well it didn't matter to Elawi either way he had saved her and that was enough to befriend him if he so wished it.
"That sure was brave of you.I mean you didn't have to but you jumped in there and saved me without even knowing who I am. I wonder if I could use my tail like that?" Elawi suddenly realized she was talking a lot and looked down she felt that she bored others by rambling on. She turned her head to look at her lion like tail and the sun light coming through the trees glistened off her golden horn for a moment before she turned to face Houndoom once more. "Sorry if I was talking to much."

Houndoom chuckled at her bow towards him, she was so tense. He was sure she had not seen any male have such fine manners before. 'I wonder why...' he thought."Your tail? Hmmmm... I'm not sure," He joked.
"It's okay, i prefer listening to talking anyways. Lets walk on, this place reeks of danger," he murmured. He used his tail to steer Elawi away from the scene. He had just heard bushes rustling again. "Elawi? Did i mention, your name sounds unique, one of a kind in fact,"
Her golden horn glistened under the sun he walked slowly beside her, ears on high alert, eyes darting everytime something moved. The sound of birds chirping came back and everything seemed peaceful as it was. The scent of wild flowers brushed against him.
He remembered the lovely song he heard and started humming it. His silver clicked to the tune with his humming. He glanced over at Elawi and saw beauty, Inner beauty. "So, who do you follow?"

Elawi kept her glance down for the moment shy not only of her over talking, but also that she asked such a silly question. She swished her tail back and forth lightly as she listened to him speak unaware of the rustling bushes around them.
She blushed as his tail steered her and looked up at him from her downwards stare. It was only then that she heard the sounds and bumped into Houndoom slightly trying to get further away from the sounds.
"It is?" Elawi said replying to the comment on her name. " It means quite, I've always been rather shy though more so when I was young." Feeling oddly calm for one that had just been saved from danger she spoke on rather freely. "Houndoom? That's a unique name as well. Does it mean anything?"
Elawi started to smile a bit, they had only just met and he was already protecting her. What a wonderful soquili to meet she thought, if more were like him this would be a better world to live in.
"You heard me sing?" Elawi said with a slightly shocked voice before looking to the ground. "Follow?" She said looking up instantly. "What do you mean, who do I follow?"

Houndoom caught sight of her blushing and got confused. 'Why was she blushing? I didn't do anything...' he thought cluelessly. He felt a slight brush and turned to her once more, she had accidentally bumped against him while trying to get away from the bushes.
He chuckled softly. This mare was shy AND timid. Well... not THAT timid. "No elawi, it does not mean anything special... Well not that i know of. Its just a name that my parents gave me." He said smiling gently to her. "oh! and yes i heard you sing, you have an awfully lovely voice."He said still guiding her forward, if he was right this path would lead her to the grasslands. No lions.
"As in... Who is your human friend? that found you in the first place?" He asked, did she not have one?
