why on earth is it that when people draw or go look for jean claude examples they always do someone that's tanned, when anita clearly discribes him as having that perfecty paled skin?

Perhaps because it's difficult to show skin that pale? I have no idea; it's a good question ^.^

XD Thats a good question. Perhaps, instead of searching "Jean-Claude" you should search "Sexy Vampire" or something similar. You may find one that meets Jean Claudes discription.

Well, if by examples you mean as for...real life people......then what do you expect? biggrin Those people aren't vampires, they're probably actors or models. And most actors and models aren't that eerie pale ( xd Like me. biggrin I glow I'm so pale). So......yes. They'd be tan.
Fanart, all the fanart I've seen, Jean-Claude is paler then the rest. But still not a white pale, because reaching that skin tone would probably ruin the effect of Jean-Claude. It'd take away from the beauty that the artist was probably trying to portray.
Of course you can always question about Anita, with her skin color and height. Most of the fanarts I've seen draw her tallish, or with the figure of a tall person (Most taller people aren't curvy like smaller people). Also they draw her pretty tanned, when Anita say's she's pale. A couple times.
Sorry about ranting off like that...@_@;

the ranting is fine, I never noticed that really, that anita is always taller and more lanky than she's suppose to be, she's suppose to be short, and cute and curvy and pale, nobody everyone suggest really looks like who they're suppose to portray, idea, anyone who can find pictures, doesn't matter of who, even if it's your next door neghibor, post it! lets get some good look-a-likes.

chibi_katsie why on earth is it that when people draw or go look for jean claude examples they always do someone that's tanned, when anita clearly discribes him as having that perfecty paled skin? Does this apply to my picture of Stuart Townsend? If you had seen Queen of the Damned, he was pretty pale that I almost thought it was overdone.

he can get paler. Every time I read an anita book I always have and will picture jean-claude as having that near white skin.

Most of the pictures I've come across as "possible" Jean Claude's have the pale factor down and everything else wrong. Go figure.

Valtanwar Most of the pictures I've come across as "possible" Jean Claude's have the pale factor down and everything else wrong. Go figure. Oh~ Share the wealth? All the Jean Claude pictures I have seen are usually of actors or models. I think most people just go with someone they personally find attractive and make sure the eye and hair color is right. Or at least thats what it looks like when I browse galleries. Same with Anita. I hear her and Salma Hayek being mentioned a lot. We're as Salma may have the shape and height they'd have to pale her up for role.
