Characters In order of appearance...
"Washy" (tonypoop56) A man of unknown origin, found knocked out along a beach. It seems that he is suffering from amnesia and could not remember neither his past nor his name. The extent of his vague memory is unclear but he offers no answers to questions posed so it is assumed that his case is severe. He seems to be gifted in magic, although in his current state, such a conclusion could not be easily drawn. His name was given by himself to himself. It stemmed from the location where he was found ("Since you found me washed up on a beach"). Although inwardly troubled due to flashes of resurfacing memories, he remains outwardly cheerful.
Maera (Nirage) A huntress not native to the land. She carries with her the distinct air of a warrior. She utilizes various types of weapons, but her preferred weapon of choice seems to be the usual bow and arrow. Although a blade, which was a little longer than a dagger yet lighter than a sword, is also confined within her robes among other things. She was the first to see Washy, though not the first to offer him aid. She doesn't care to meddle on other's business but seems to get wrapped in their situations all the same. She is a free-spirit with a hint of mischievousness.
Akila (SilverNightingale) A member of the High Tower, which is the highest governing institution of Kastra that is second only to the Emperor himself. She has the rank of Council Healer. She was the second one to see Washy and was the first person to respond to his aid. She has quite an odd personality for someone of her position, including her dark sense of humor among other things.
Fryun (James-Fowler) An elvin thief who arrived at the wrong place at the wrong time. He assaulted Maera, who was en route to Kastra with Washy and Akila. Not much is known about this individual. Whether he had escaped the conflict in Kastra remains a mystery.
Flint (Plutopup) A member of the Protectorate, a group of individuals sworn to protect Kastra and her citizens. A laid back individual who is talented both physically and magically. Despite his usual demeanor, it could shift to seriousness, however, when his comrades are threatened or attacked. He seems to be hiding something underneath the veil of his fierce loyalty. One could only wonder what it is.
Emperor Jiniken (NPC) The Emperor of Timithly. Supposedly a man with superb energy manipulation skills who had summoned the perpetual thunderstorm protecting his land.
Samual (NPC) One of Emperor Jiniken's loyal guards. He was assigned to deliver the mission letter to Akila.
"Old Man" (NPC) (NEW) A person whom Flint secretly reports to and seemingly hates. Details regarding this man's identity is unknown.

Database A collection of miscellaneous terminologies, arranged in an alphabetical order...
Albino Wolf A wild creature residing in the forest surrounding Kastra. It was cast away from the main packs due to its abnormal color yet it still remains fiercely protective of its kind. The creature is rarely seen even by the locals of Kastra.
Council Members Individuals who are considered as apprentices of the High Tower Elders. Basically, they are Kastra's law enforcers, among other things.

Greton Shares similarities to cattle. The Gretons are mainly herded in the land of Timithly for their meat and milk. These animals aren't defenseless, they hold a horn on top of the head, which for many of the domestic Greton, have been cut short due to their hostility. ((supplied by tonypoop56))
High Tower (of Kastra) An institution that specializes in teaching various types of arts. It is under the direct command of the Emperor of Timithly.

Laughing Minstrel Located in Kastra. An inn/restaurant that Flint frequents. It may also be considered his home of sorts.
Portal Magic A technique that Flint could utilize to locate and warp to the immediate vicinity of people whom he knows good enough. According to Flint--"Its all got to do with the water vapor in the air acting as a medium."
Protectorate A group of people dedicating themselves to the protection of Kastra and its citizens. Although not a formally recognized branch of Kastra's army, the group can boast connections to both the Imperial Guard and to the Emperor himself. ((supplied by Plutopup))
Rhast Inn Located in the village of Availson. The famed Greton produce are served here.
Shaminon A spell utilized by Washy after being pursued and cornered by Imperial Guards. Since the spell failed to reach its completion, its actual effect is unknown.

Summary
Chapter One: Beginning Wherein Washy had been found by Maera and Akila. The latter lead the two outsiders to the Capital City of Kastra only to watch the city explode into chaos by an assault launched by an unknown source. Together with Flint, who was a member of the city's Protectorate, Akila ventured within the city in an attempt to aid the wounded and possibly capture the perpetrators. Washy, despite Akila's warnings, entered the city and stumbled upon a passage that leads directly to the palace. He was pursued by Imperial Guards whom he killed with spells out of uncontrollable self-defense. Before Akila and Flint could see what was wrong, Washy had already been rendered unconscious.
Chapter Two: The Aftermath Five days had passed since the assault on Kastra. The city was gradually recovering. Akila together with Flint and Maera visited Washy in the infirmary. Akila was in the middle of interrogating the amnesiac fellow but guards burst in and handed her a letter, which came from the Emperor himself. The letter contained information about the attack and the assassination attempt. It seemed that the former was led by the Lands of North while the latter was led by Corna, the Lands of South. In order to enlighten the questions surrounding the cause of the confusing attacks, Akila was instructed to travel to the Heal Springs in order to inquire the God of Water and Light about the current chain of events. The mission was supposedly a solo one, but Flint, Maera, and Washy had managed to tag along.
Chapter Three: They Unite After the encounter with the Albino Wolf, which served as the event of their unity, the party made their way to a village, Availson, after three days of travel. Just what could be lying in wait for them there?
