 Tawny sat relaxingly underneath a rather large tree. Not exactly sure what type of tree, but what did that matter? It gave lovely shade when he needed it. He yawned slighly and started to lick his paw. It was a relaxing day, just like most other days he normally had.
His orange coat made him very easy to see. Unless, of course, he was sitting next to a bunch of orange and black flowers. He had no reason to hide, and didn't care much anyways. If others didn't like the way he was, oh well.
His left paw was black, along with the marking on his back near his tail, as well with a stripe on his tail. He also had white swhirl marking under his right eye along with a white stripe on his back and in his tail. He really didn't fit in around the tree, or the grass he sat on.

Miguel had been exploring all morning and had noted every little 'finding' along the way. He was noting the grass in the area when he noticed two butterflies flutering around near him. He swated at one and tried to pin it down. He was interested in seeing their wing designs. But the butterflies weren't going to co-operate. He jumped and sawted at them untill he forgot why he'd started.
Miguel's black fur seemed to absorb the light around him, but his white paws seemed to take that absorbed light and shine it back outward. His white lightning like markings on his back and the white stripe on his nose seemed to do the same as his paws. His purple lightning marks on his back and paws seemed lost in the battle of absorbing and reflecting.
It was awhile before Miguel gave up on his attempt to take down the butterflies. He looked around panting. "Hey! A tree!" he said excitedly, to himself. He was sure the butterflies weren't listing.

Something, well rather someone, broke the silences that Tawny was enjoying. Though it was always fun to run into others. He looked about to see another male with some butterflies around him. Butterflies were always so beautiful. They always lingered around others and then lingered off after a while.
He stretched his legs out and yawned. Not saying anything, but waiting. He didn't like to start conversations, expecially if he didn't know if the other was mean or not. He liked to try to advoid rude Ulaya's. He watched the other with interested.

As Migule wandered twards the tree he became aware of an orange 'object' of some sort residing uner it, in the shade.
"What a bright color." He commented to himself. He stood there a moment contemplating as to what this 'object' might be.
"It must be a bag. Someone must have forgotten it." He concluded. "I wunder if there's something inside it. Like something to drink!"
Miguel ran twards it. But as he neared, it seemed to flatten alittle and then rise back to where it had been.
"That's strange." He wispered, as he slowed to a walk. It was only a couple steps more before he realized it was another Ulaya. He wasn't sure if he should be happy to someone else, or sad that now there was no way there would be any drinks under the tree.

To Tawny it looked as if the other was going to attack him when he noticed him. He closed his eyes waiting for the impact sitting there. He'd been attacked before, though he never fought back. He never got seriously hurt, but there was times he couldn't move at all the next day.
His ears where down, and he looked much like a cat that had just gotten into trouble and knew a smack on the head was going to happen.

Miguel stop in front of the other Ulaya and stared. He waved a paw in front of the orange Ulaya's face.
"Are you ok?" Miguel asked confused. He'd never seen an Ulaya sleep like that. It was like he was cringing.

An ear went up as an eye opened. So the other wasn't going to attack him. Finally relaxing, with both eyes opened. "Oh.. I'm fine. I just thought you were going to attack me." he said with a nervous chuckle.

"Attack you?" Miguel had never acully attacked anyone before. He'd been attacked by Tulio, his non-blood related brother. But Miguel wasn't the kind to attack others. Even if he was upset, which rarely happend.
"Why would I do that?" Miguel asked curiously. "You've done nothing wrong."

He looked at the other with no expression. "Don't know. Sometimes others just attack. " He said. He looked at the ground and chuckled at himself. He'd gotten a little paranoid, and felt stupid about it.
"I guess I just assumed the worsed."

"You must not hang around very kind Ulaya, huh?" Miguel stated more than asked. "Are you attacked often?" He asked, though he was certain he was bein nosey, he wanted to know.
This Ulaya was very diffrent from the jealouse, easily excited, loud, energetic group he was used to. He was used to Tulio ranting about Inari, or about being better than anyone. And Mile leaning on him and jokeing with him. And all the other Ulaya who seemed soo willing to go on adventurs with him. Because there was nothing Miguel loved more than dicovering new things.

Tawny smiled. "I don't normally hang around any Ulaya." It wasn't that he didn't want to, because he did. He loved the compainy of others, yet could never find anyone that would hang with him. "Sometimes, I guess it depends on who I run into."
Tawny stood up to be the same height as the other. He didn't want the other to look down at him if he didn't need to. He laughed. "I guess I'm just an easy target with my brightly colored fur?"

Miguel smiled. "You do have very bright fur. You must take very good care of it to make stay soo vibrant."
Miguel was often drawn to others whome might not blend in with crowds. He loved meeting diffrent types of Ulaya, and learning about their diffrent personalities, likes, and dislikes. Hell, he just liked learning new things. He enjoyed meeting others who stood out in their own way, whether by fur or by actions.

He laughed. "Well, when you have nothing to do, you tend to just clean yourself." He wasn't one for moving around alone. If someone asked him to go with him he wouldn't at all mind to join them. Though, sometimes he stalled.
"I'm sure you keep your black fur pretty clean. I mean, I don't know how well dirt would show up since I only have a tiny bit of black." He smiled. His taill wagged a bit. "So what brings you out here?" He asked out of the blue. It was best to keep off his hygene, it kind of made him sound a bit girly.

Miguel looked out at the area he had just walked from. "Well, I was told I had the whole day to myself. So I was looking at new things I'd never seen before." He explained. "I saw all kinds of things. Like roots and flowers, clouds, shiney rocks, a beach, butterflies..." He mummbled that last part to himself.

"Oh?" Tawny listend very well. It made conversations better that way. "There's lots of butterflies around here. Seeing how the trees flowers are now blooming." He said looking up at the tree he had been under. It's pinkish flowers were slowly blooming but it was attracting alot of bugs.
He looked to the other and smiled. "Having a day to yourself is always nice. Unless it's like that every day." He laughed. It did get boring after awhile.
