The dark brown-almost black- covers of the book send off an intoxicating aroma at a close distance, of chocolate and raspberries. Far from plain, there is an intricate design of swirls traced along its covers in a dark pink color. The pages, upon inspection, are of the same hue, and the scent intensifies when the journal is opened.

You sit inside, protected and comfortable as the weather rages outside. The evening meal is on the table, and you're filled with an intense feeling of well-being.
Your mind veers, against your will, to the dying creature that you had come across. It certainly wouldn?t be comfortable tonight. What are you thinking? It's probably already long gone. But...what if it isn't?
What's it actually like outside? Do you go in search of the Herald? What do you bring to make it more comfortable, if so? Do you even find it?

She had been a straight ‘C’ student, and was thrilled whenever she got a B. Even if it was an open book test. But for all the fuss people made over grades, she never took the step forward to bring forth effort into her work. After all, if she used effort, people would grow to expect things out of her. And well- she liked not being expected of anything.
But what the young girl lacks in intelligence she makes up for with kindness and common sense.
This however leads her to being the stereotypical ‘doormat’. She will let practically anyone walk all over her, and wont even notice its happening. Instead counting it as “they just needed my help, that’s all.”
For all she’s worth, Emily tries to show kindness to just about everyone upon first meeting them. However, her first impression tends to be what she goes off of, and she isn’t above holding a grudge. Physical Appearance: Emily’s hair is about mid back, and a light chestnut colored brown. The thick and heavy locks seem to have a natural wave about them. Her skin tone is slightly tan, but enough to tell that she has no exotic blood coursing through her veins. Her eyes are bright sky-blue color and are what she considers her best physical attribute.
Being a student, as she is, Emily tends to wear simple clothing. Jeans and a tee-shirt, with the occasional skirt or pair of shorts. She never spends a great deal on her appearance, but enough to make it known that she isn’t a slob. History: Emily comes from a normal past. She grew up in the city as an only child, and as a result was spoiled. Which was probably the reason for her lack of care of her studies. Who would rather read a book when they could go play video games or watch TV?
However, despite her lack of care for her education she knew she needed a college degree to get anywhere in life (outside of burger joints and gas stations) and sent in applications. Eventually a college accepted her, and with a heavy heart she bid farewell to her parents and set off to start her own life.
