I am a bit confused. There is that chick (whoops forgot her name) who had Kirara for a pet formed it inside her from good and evil with the essential elements... Help!

MIDORIKO! domokun yes... a bit high today -_-
midoriko was a really powerful priestess in her time. all the demons feared her but didnt dare go near her as they knew that they were going to be purified into nothing. in midoriko's world every soul was made up of 4 thing (4 things ending with tama or something sweatdrop ) (anyway these resembled 4 things like love/friendship, courage/bravery, intelligence...idunno someone correct me!)anyhow, when these four things were even meaning that they were balanced, the human soul would be good. if these four things were unbalanced, the human sould would plunge into darkness. this whole thing means that a human soul can be either good or bad. midoriko had the power to balance these things to create a pure soul. in the manga it says that there was a man who secretly loved midoriko so the demons found a crevice in the man's heart and possesed him.. creating a big demon. the demons found it easier to fuse together in a twisted soul. this big demon would plan for midoriko's demise. the battle went on for 7 days and 7 nights
finally on the seventh night, midoriko lost all her strength and the demon had her body in it's jaws, so with the last bits of her power, she seized the demon's soul and imprisoned it with her own soul therefore creating the sacred jewel.
a demon had grasp of the shikon no tama later on and sango's grandfather had fought it. he had retrieved the jewel from the demon but being mortally wounded by the demon, he died a short while later. by now the jewel had been really defiled so it was intrusted to kikyou. narraku than found out about kikyou and disposed of her and so on! ^-^ and u also find out about the dark priestess and how she wanted to kill kikyou so on....
