The covers of the journal are strange, a metallic purplish-blue that seems to shift hues at different angles. Small sparks seem to flicker through it in geometric shapes, reminiscent of the lines seen on a circuit board. The interior of the journal, however, is left a mystery, however, as it has been closed and latched with wires. Though from the side, it seems like it is more apt to holding CDs than ink....

Time has passed, and your Herald is becoming fond of you and beginning to show affection. You two have grown closer, but that's not the only aspect of growing.
The Herald is maturing into a young child before your eyes. No longer dying and weak and no longer sexless, it now has beautiful angel white hair and dark blue eyes of unusual depth. You may have noticed that the Herald has been scratching and touching its back for a while, and now it's finally explained. The herald's wings have started to grow in.
How do you deal with the child's discomfort? Do you have any remedies to ease it? How does he/she react? How do the wings reflect the item given?

Age He doesn't know, he never seems to age and never had anyone to count the early years. At a guess one could estimate he's somewhere in his early to late twenties.
Species Spectrulupis
Species Info Spectrulupis are strange creatures, very rare and totally undocumented. They can vary in appearance from fully bestial to humanoid, usually based on where they spend their early years. Bane grew up around humans so looks entirely human apart from one or two unusual features, one of which being the double-halo that hovers just above his head, the other being his slitted blue eyes. Spectrupis can shift into their alternate forms, that of dragon-like creatures on a whim but Bane cannot, he has little to no control over his powers despite his father being one of the most revered and feared spectrulupis around. Only when he is in a severe state of delusion, drunkeness or emotion does he have any capacity for damage.
He lives day to day like any other human, keeping distant from real life relationships, keeping a low profile and moving home every five or so years. Incredibly lonely and incredibly rational as members of his kind typically are. They are kin to the demons in a way, typically lecherous and cold, Bane is not typical in this respect for the most part, fighting all of his inclinations to indifference, seduction and arrogance daily, aiming to be meek and calm as possible.
