Hehe, just realized I posted this in the wrong forum, but w/e. Chatterbox is as good as any at the moment.

Just a thought I had when I noticed Ghal and Drake had begun posting: Do fights have to be one on one?
Because, and this was just me thinking mind you, if I were to truly play the villain and just "happened" to be at the same location as those two, Troll and Rift could effectively annihilate Warshadow.
Call it a surgical strike lol "Bam! One hero down." Not that I would at the moment (my profile has yet to be accepted) nor do I think it's appropriate just yet, but I think it's something we should discuss and maybe add some rules about.

In the end, it kinda makes sense to have uneven fights at times. A group of heroes team up to take down a powerful villain who threatens the peace; a trio of villains plot the downfall of a mutually hated enemy. So on and so forth.

Of course, we, as RPers would have to exhibit some form of decorum while joining in such battles. If two villains have a strong hero cornered, a third villain shouldn't just "stumble upon the scene" unless that villain is frequently found in that area and they are making exceptional ruckus. Likewise, I don't believe other heroes should be able to come to the aid of their cornered ally unless there was some way to communicate an SOS.

The thing that would really start to kill these situations and take away from the RP considerably would be if people just read the thread, saw what was going on, and jumped in, even if their character would really be no where near there.

Anyway, just some thoughts. What are yours? mrgreen

Hm... I agree with you. Though one thing to remember is that certain villains or heroes may not accept aid in a fight, even if they are loosing. It may be because of pride, stubbornness, all kinds of things. It would add a lot of character to the... character. sweatdrop About the 'jumping in' thing, I believe there would be mods looking out for that sort of thing, as that constitutes as being in two places at once.

I think that some heroes and villains need to get ganged up on if they are gona get taken down. I've already seen some characters that on paper look like it would be a huge effort just to make a scratch on 'em. Course, that's just my opinion, and I might have misread some of the profiles. *shrug*

I completely agree that it has to be limited or some restrictions placed on it. I also agree that while Warshadow would give Rift and Troll a run for their money, in the end, he would fall.

I'll move this to the proper subforum in a couple days.

Double-teaming and triple-teaming and so on is allowed on both sides: I say this because speaking from a comic-book reader's point of view, no villain would hesitate, and at the same time, you jaywalk and suddenly the whole Justice League's on your butt. So it's fine, but it has to make sense. Like it's been said, you can't just randomly be there. At the same time, the two towers are capable of long-range teleportation, but there will be limits. Positron or Strategist has to approve the teleportation, since they're the only ones who can activate those systems. Otherwise, you'd have to find your own (sensible) way to get there.
