i mostly posted this 'cause this was the only subforum without a subject in it. and it took some thinking to think of something that i disliked strongly enough to post about and since i'm no longer a super-anti-sho-freak this was what i came up with.
well, as the people who've read the scanlations know...ren's mysterious past is very dark and....dark...ok, so it's a difficult thing to deal with for ren and i feel bad for him and all, but i really would like it much better if someone'd just kick him in the a** and make him pick himself together. at first when his past was introduced as this deep, dark secret, i was fairly 'oooo, what kinda past are you hiding behind that perfectly gentlemanly mask of yours' (is yours proper grammar? i used to have a 3rd grade teacher who was obsessed with correcting people when they used 'mines' saying how 'mines are stuff that blow up when you step on them' or whatever, sorry, but i can be a bit of a grammar freak sometimes sweatdrop ). at least when he was brooding about his feelings towards kyoko, the problem wasn't completely hidden and kyoko was able to make him resolve to nurture his feelings towards her and he actually wanted to deal with it, but ren seems like he's soooo unwilling to deal with his past that it's like unless someone drags it out of him, he'll keep it inside him for eternity and beyond! but good ol' lory, taking the initiative and placing kyoko by kuu's (? was that his name?.....) side to agitate ren into facing up to it all!
i don't like broody ren!!!! scream (just 'cause it's the 'hate' subforum)

haha good point good point. Broody Ren is annoying. I understand his past is difficult but he shouldn't be so worked up about it and act...immature? maybe? I do hope that this current thing with Kyoko working with Kuu (who I think has some connectin with Ren) will make Ren non-broody. I miss the funny/cool Ren! He looks scary when he's all broody. no love for him then crying booo

yay!! someone who shares my oppinion! i was afraid that there wouldn't be anyone to share this view since ren's so loved ^^U. and i know that ren's not able to be perfect and deal with everything with ease, otherwise he'd be superhuman o.o but a non-mopey ren who isn't overwhelmed with his dark past is much more pleasing than the opposite! 3nodding
i can't bring myself to outrightly complain about ren >.< even if i find that side of him a bit distasteful, trying to be understanding of him really isn't helping...i guess ren just isn't such a good subject for the hate subforum...unless a real ren hater comes...but i couldn't post about sho 'cause i don't hate him anymore ;_; though i'm still exasperated towards his attitude

gah!!! if i reply, i'd be breaking a rule!!....
....but....i'll whisper it really softly...i like ren's immaturity when it comes to kyoko 'cause i don't like the idea of perfect ren and him showing weakness especially when it comes to kyoko even if it comes in the form of immaturity is refreshing and i really appreciate that side of ren...you didn't just read that!!...yes!! back to hating!! ren's brooding in darkness on the floor with a glass of scotch (brandy?) on rocks must be shot down and obliterated by kyoko's shining meteorite of adoration and love!!! and the meteorite's pink too!!! and the darkness will dissipate as the onkyou eat it up for fodder in order to grow more powerful and leave an aftertaste for the next victim they paralyze!!!!

he just showed up in the last few chapters. he's the guy with light colored hair, older looking, he's seen in a scene with lory. kyoko's been hanging around him a lot these last few chapters, maybe even the only one she actually interacted with in ch104
