NOBARA FANS!!!!

i like nobara 3nodding she's so dedicated, so tomboyish, so good at pulling off the boy look whether she means to or not!!

i like how this one isn't classic shojo either and actually sticks it out with the volleyball theme and doesn't completely go off in the romance direction, and i think it has a fair amount of romance in it to balance it out too.

Another great shoujo series heart

To be honest, I'm not really a big fan of Nobara (sorry [][]hi[][] whee ) Not saying I hate her character. She does have a strong sense of character and personality, but she isn't one of my favorite female leads. But what did draw me to this series was because the theme of girl's volleyball in shoujo was just very eek . There is actually a lot of romance in it too, in my opinion, especially since volume 3.

A good read!!

are you an osaka fan then o.o?!

okay...maybe the exclamation mark was unneeded...i like osaka too, and rina is really sweet >.< but the girls just don't have as much presence in the manga for me to like them too highly. i like osaka 'cause she's on haibuki's side and even though she still likes him, she'd totally support haibuki in whatever he chooses >.< or that's my take at least (and i've read it up to vol. 9...sorta...). but nobara as the main character has an advantage to assert her presence in the series (of course ^^U, sorry to anyone who doesn't like people who state the obvious, but i'm one of those dunderheads...) and thus i like her. actually, i've got a rather significant tendency to favor the main character ^^U.

i love nobara's hero too!! and the guys he plays with are really funny >.< wish they had a bigger part in the series.

Not really into the manga, but i have interest in volleyball. I like Nobara for her attitude(or personality) and goal. 3nodding How far has the manga gone?

YUUSHIN!!!!! Lol, I am just really supportive of YuushinxNobara...iono I think they'd be cute.

Anyways, I really like this manga because it's different than usual shoujo and I like the fact that Nobara can be assertive and strive towards a goal but at the same time she's real and has to deal with real life issues like love. I just love her character and the strength that she has as a character.

nobara's cool, but she's become a lot more girly lately. her hair's longer and she looks much more feminine. she's cute, but i just hope that she'll still retain her tomboyish style 'cause i sorta like it when people mistake her for a guy.

i like keisuke >.< and i don't know if i could explain exactly why, but i just like him >.<
he was so cute when he was little and i love his little history with nobara. the whole hero thing is super cute!!

and nobara's hero is cool, i like him >.

Oh, I haven't really read any of the later volumes so I wouldn't know about her becoming more feminine, though I also hope that she retains her tomboyishness, since that's one of the reasons that I like her so much.

As for Keisuke...iono, he always seemed a little creepy to me...I guess I just prefer the awkwardness of the interaction between Nobaru and Yuushin. Though, then again I haven't read later volumes so maybe my opinion would change if I read it.

The fact that she's so good at her sport though puts a lot of pressure on her other team mates. I don't know, since I'm not so good at sports myself, I think if I were to be on the same team with someone like Nobara after a while I'd feel like giving up.

yeah, they just got past that part in the shojo beat issues. the whole thing with ayako and stuff. though other than tomoyo, her teammates really aren't outstanding volleyball players and even tomoyo probably hasn't returned to a level where people just have to notice her, since their team is smaller than average, their bond is probably also stronger than average. having to deal with the same six people and only those six people really helps them build a bond beyond just plain teammates and you see them become friends too. so other than their need to perform on the court, they've also got that whole thing with wanting to support each other so that keeps them from thinking of themselves only. i think it'd be a more selfish thought if one of them were to say "i can't do this because nobara's out of my league" instead of "i've got to be better so i can really be part of this team with nobara" and ayako got that after her little breakdown. and it's good that she burst out like that towards nobara too, because it just strengthened kanako and kyoka's determination all the more, making them realize that they really want to stick with the team. i swear i could go on and on, but i'll just leave it at that sweatdrop
