Yea, happened to me too. LoL. My favorite is sitting in a stationary place and no matter little furniture is in the room and clear the space is around you...you drop a pick...and it's GONE!

I've done that, but I've solved the problem by getting multiples of the fav pick. That way if they get lost, go through the wash or anything like that I've got a few remaining to count on while I find time to go get more.

Nah, I always put my picks on top of my amp. And if I do go somewhere I have pick holders on the back of my headstocks.

Something like that has happened...
I think my pick is in my mouth, when it's either in my pocket or hand.
Oh, and I dun really have a favorite pick :B As long as they're medium (for guitar) or heavy (for bass)

What's funny is when you can be in an almost empty room and still manage to hit or knock something over. And yeah...picks, they are tricky little devils.

...so I tossed my favorite pick down on my desk oneday and when I looked back, it was gone. I found it three days later when I opened up my laptop. Somehow it got in between there.... stare I think that's probably the strangest place I've ever found a lost pick...
You know what bugs me? How you can be in an empty room, drop the pick, and not find it for fifteen minutes.Or you can set it down right in front of you, not see it there later, and spend more time looking for something that was right infront of your face.

Heck, it's happened to me hundreds of times . . . which is why I don't use picks anymore . . . I lost most of them, and now I can't even remember where I lost them. Sigh . . . oh yeah, same as clarinet reeds as well. Sigh . . .
The funniest thing that happened to my guitar was than once, I put my Bible in the guitar case (I had to bring my guitar for school so I put my Bible in there so that I didn't have to carry it in my bag), and forgot all about it, and spent the next four days hunting around for it. Then my mom suggested, "Why don't you check your guitar case?" I did, and there it was.
Man was I embarassed! I've learnt my lesson though: next time, do not put anything unrelated to guitar into my guitar case.

I rarely lose picks. Odd really. Since they are the almost the same couleur as my carpet. I just keep one out and when I'm done with it I put it on my stand. I always keep the rest of my picks in a bag on my shelf with my other music s**t. I did break the record of losing a bag full of picks once. I was pissed because I couldn't play guitar for a while. My mom takes me to the music store 3 weeks later after something happens with picks or reeds or something like that. stare
