Hmmm why do I love Ren so much...Well his personality interests me. He's smart, funny, talented and then evil at times. I love how when he's mad at people he'll smile brightly at them. And then he's usually always giving a straight out answer that normally people wouldn't give. Thats just funny. Then his silly moments are cute. Like when he's talking to Kyoko in the chicken costume. So cute!! heart heart Then theres the evil side. I can't wait to learn more about his past and why he's kinda twisted like he is. Then the number one reason is he's HOT. I know I know he's a manga character but I just have to squeel like a rabid fan girl when I see him smile so sweetly. Gotta love him!! heart 3nodding whee 4laugh

I love Ren because he is Ren. There can be no other answer.
Ah, I'm just kidding, I hate answers like that.
Oh, I love him for everything. He's so cool, and he can act mean, and he has such strict ideals. He can be so nice, and he is strong. And...he's everything that the perfect man would be! With a few flaws to make you want to be in Kyoko's place and help him whenever necessary.
Yeah...Ren is perfect. Even his flaws make him perfect.
Why aren't real guys like the guys in manga? Well, except for Sho. I've met a few Shotaro's. I know they exist.

I agree... too many Sho's, not enough Ren's... crying Not fair!
I read volume 6... and I absolutely-- cannot wait for volume 7!!!!!!! The cliffhanger was just mean... but it makes Ren look cool... @_@ And Kyoko too. ^^;;
I want to meet a Ren... I wish I had Kyoko's guts too sweatdrop heart heart

There's never enough of Ren in the manga...
I love him because of how sarcastically funny he can be, for his sweetness, for his totally amazing personality. I like it when he gets angry and smiles...
It's like, better than seeing emo spiderman. Okay, not a good enough comparison, but... there's not much I can compare with...
He's like, awesome.

I like Ren because he's dedicated, and although he may lie about his feelings, he does it so that no one gets hurt.

To Rainy: I haven't seen Spiderman yet (I will tomorrow) so I can only rely on what I heard for that comparison... >.> heart Ren ^^
To hikari: yeah, he does seem like the very hard worker (spoiler) heck he even fainted because of a rain scene (vol. 6).

Hottie indeed, but he's too perfect... >.> Well no, you can't be too perfect... but I was re-reading the first six books and something clicked. And it made me laugh. I don't know if I should share it, in case someone hasn't read up to-- volume 4 or something. sweatdrop

put it in white text then! ^_^ i like ren because he's nice to kyoko every once in a while but i think something happened in their past because in the past ren was "corn" & he was kyokos friend! 4laugh & i think something happened that made him hate her... emo

@shinigamiami - that's not the case. he's mean to kyoko because of her motives for going into the entertainment business and actually he wanted to keep himself in check (dunno if this's a spoiler, but just in case) ::because it was brought to his attention by yashiro-san that he would be nice towards kyoko once in a while and not even notice it himself and he was afraid that he'd give her special treatment and favor her just because of their history together. he didn't want to soften up just because she's kyoko from kyoto, probably his only friend back then ;_;::
