I love the artwork of Skip Beat! I like the originality of the characters. It's not like another high school girl romance thing. The way the person drew Kyoko's anger is amazing! I just plain love the artwork!

it's not the kinda artwork that i'd consider breathtakingly beautiful like i consider ai yazawa, kaori yuki, and clamp's artworks, but there are some very pretty/beautiful scenes and the art has grown on me tremendously since i first began reading. i didn't like how the guys were drawn at first, but now...i guess all i can say is i do >.<

yeah, i love the chibi!!! especially chibi ren!!! he's soooooooooooooo cute chibi >.< so unlike the cool and collected ren!! and (i don't think this is a spoiler since i'm not actually giving out plot) the ryoukan daughter kyoko in a kimono and the angel kyoko were both suuuuuper pretty >.<

I also notice that when you actually see someone in a full body shot, their legs are SUPER-LONG!!!

i know xd everyone's super stretched out!!!! it was something that i had to get used to, but now it doesn't bother me anymore. i guess clamp stretches out their characters too...like fai and kurogane are pretty long, so is yuuko and doumeki and watanuki....and the other characters....would you say that nakamura-san's characters are proportionally longer or are the clamp characters longer?

Hrm... That's pretty close. I've only seen Magic Knights Rayearth as an anime from clamp, and they're pretty tall, but I've also seen some pics from Nakamura-sensei that make them seem like they almost have no torso at all!!! THEY'RE ALL LEGS...

I think i'm around vol. 18???
but it's kinda ugly how kyoko (was that her name? forgot)
has a wig and all...
but she's still pretty!
ren is a good couple for her!!!!

Well, at first, I wasn't a big fan of the artwork, especially the way the guys were drawn. But now, I guess the artwork has grown on me, and there are some really gorgeous scenes in the story too.

Mmm. I really love the artwork style. The chibis and expressions are drawn so nicely, and I love the evil grudge demons xD

i feel similar towards skip beat as i do towards ai yazawa's work. i remember when i first read paradise kiss i found the art kinda weird, but now i find her work absolutely gorgeous and can barely believe it when anyone finds her art strange or displeasing in any way...but then i remember how strange i found it at first sweatdrop now i love how the characters are drawn in skip beat too >.<

I think the artwork is pretty good, it's not the style I would use personally, but it's still alright. And I don't like the guys that much, they have really long faces....ewwie! XD jk But they really do, just look at Ren and Sho.... -shudder-

i think the guys were my main problem with the art, but now i like the way she draws the guys. especially some of those really nice smiles, not all of them, but those really rare and gentle smiles are really nice on both ren and sho...well, sho only showed it once, but....i like the guys now 3nodding
