my cat loves coffee, and will lick my cup all over, inside and out.
it has cream in it, but she likes the buzz too.

The last smoothie my mom made was a little too... lemony, I guess. Usually there's a balance, but the concoction was simply too acidy and tarty to not notice. (It's usually not that bad so it was quite a surprise.)
Anyways, so my brother pours the rest for himself, puts it on the counter, and leaves to do something else. Meanwhile, Mikey, was heading towards a nearby window sill. He's was more curious than most cat's I've seen (to the point of being pretty obsessive about it.) I didn't think there was a problem with him being so close to the smoothie given its high-citrus content. (Cats usually hate that stuff, from what I've seen.)
Much to our surprise, though, his curiosity got the better of him and he went up, cautiously sniffed, and gave it a taste. There was a small, head-twitching reaction on his part, after which he decided to give it another try.
Very curious indeed. I imagine it like so:
-You see food on the table. It doesn't smell good, but... well, it could be interesting... -So you take a bite... -It tastes like vile... -Well, maybe you'll get used to the taste... -You take another bite... -It tastes just as vile...

My gerbil and Russian Dwarf hamster both love spicy food, like chilli crisps and bombay mix (We normally give them a little something different as a treat at schristmas, like a couple of nuts from the bombay mix or half a crisp (if it's a big one)). Misty (the gerbil) is funniest though. She takes a bite, does a little eye twitch, licks her lips and goes in again. She does it with lemons too. I think she either: a) just loves food too much, like me or b) likes torturing herself... [[indexed]]
