Not too far off from his sister, rested the most silent child of the family, Romulus, in the chair that he had deemed his favoured spot before he had taken up home up in the mountain. Wolven eyes watched the room carefully, but at the same sense, dully as the silence outside of his head was starting to aggitate the noise that could only be heard insice his head.

Having been unaware of his sister's whereabouts, he gave a loud, breath-filled huff, as he lulled back into the chair, leaning his head against the backrest and looking out the window.

It was days like this.. ugh.

Sounds of a scramble could be heard from the kitchen. Seemed that although the main room was surprisingly empty of the many inhabitants of the house the kitchen was not quite so. An irritated bordering on engry female kitsu voice could be heard. A giggling brown blur dashed from the room, red & gold scarf fluttering behind the kit's body. Even through her anger, Ginny's yells were losing their edge, softened by even the leaving of the loving "baby's" presence. Hemi looked around the room with a playfully loving expression, wanting to share his purloined "treasure" with someone. Spotting his eldest brother the happy kit's tails wagged pleasantly as he trotted over, a fairly large parcel in his mouth. Scents wafted from it, primarily of sweet things and chocolate -his treasure purloined from the red-headed witch.

Brown tails swept the floor light cerulean eyes bright and happy. Then spotting his shy sister beneath his brother's seat those eyes brightened even more and he yipped a happy greating around his package.

Nahanni studied the tails, and recognized them to be from her mute brother, Romulus. A faint smile graced her face. And here she thought the room was empty. She lifted a paw to step out from under the chair when a smell hit her nose. Turning her head, the scent lead to another sibling. Hemi pranced in with the strange smell, and Ayako soon followed. Nahanni perked an ear curiously, and scooted back under her chair to watch.

Grinning, Hemi set down his bundle carefully on the floor in front of Romulus & Nahanni to turn and beam an even brighter smile at Ayako & Vynnessia. Then he pursed his mouth shut, light blue eyes quickly checking the room for any sign of a certain priestess kitsu and the eldest pet member of his house mates. Seeing no sign of either Miaka or the fox Shippou his eyes danced with delight as Hemi grinned once more.

"Cookies!!" The youngest kit announced proudly, nudging a flap of cloth from the pile to reveal freshly baked cookies of all types still piping hot at if just taken from the oven. A touch of magic lingered about the holding cloth -most likely a spell to keep the cookies in their fresh-baked state. Brown tails wagged behind him as his eyes smiled even more to catch a glancve of Katsumi leaping from the window. "Katsuuumii!! Have a cookie!"

The cookies smelled so good and Hemi looked so cute... how could anyone resist?

"Hello Vynnessia and..." Ayako turned to greet her older sister and blinked as the dark coloured kit scampered away. Wasn't that Katsumi? Shaking her head resentfully at her sister's behaviour, her ears perked up as she heard Hemi's response. Cookies? She bent down to sniff them and was about to take a bite, when her brother scampered towards Katsumi.

Ayako watched this display in much displeasure at Katsumi's response. It was as if...she hated Hemi. But why? The kit decided to step in, placing herself in between her siblings, a look directed towards her sister. "Katsumi," She began patiently, wishing that her emotions were the same. "Even if you don't want one, you shouldn't treat Hemi like that." It was such disgraceful behaviour. She paused, and looked her sister in her eye. "We are family after all." Yes, that was the whole point. Family had to treat each other with respect and manners. Blood was thicker than water after all.

Even with Vyn's encouragement, Nahanni was put off as soon as Katsumi entered the room. The harsh attitude of her sister was enough to send her flying out the door. She blinked as Ayako actually stood up against her sister's sharp words, while Hemi just kept smiling. Said brother turned his attention to under the cahir, and Nahanni gulped. A cookie? Her nose wiggled slightly and she shifted forward so her head was out from under the chair. She gave a curious blink. "Cookie?"

Ayako would have; really, she was in a rather cranky mood for some reason, perhaps the waking up early and shutting herself in the library had something to do with it; she would have lashed out more at Katsumi. But Hemi said it was okay, she didn't understand how he could tolerate her behaviour at first, but after some musing, she decided to shut up after a logical thought that she should, after all, put the matter at rest on condition that they were family. Perhaps Katsumi was in a bad mood too. Shrugging lightly, she ruffled her little golden wings and turned back to the others.

"They're not bad, Nahanni." She encouraged her other sister.
