Yes Its a question!

Do they?
I am taking a poll, among my frineds and student assosiats.
I ask,
1, How many friends on estamate, do you have in each class?
2, Do you talk with them?
3, Are you cositaly picked on by teachers?(I say "Picked on", cause its the only way to get through to my "student assosiates")
and 4, What are you current grades in those classes?
I will get back to you with my findings, but so far its this,
Our schools gradings really fluxxed up, so just take this.
Girls:
average 1-2 friends: average 4.6 (B+) Found that they were typically ignored
Average 3-5:5.5 (A), Found they were sometimes told to be quiet.
Average 6+: 2.6 (D-), Found they were rarely told to be quiet

Boys:
Average 1-2: 4.1 (B-), Found they were rarely told to be quiet
Average 3-5: 5.0 (A-/B+) Found they were incredibly rarely told to be quiet
Average 6+: 2.0 (F) ((O_O))Found they were always being told to be quiet

So please disscus on my findings!
(Grade 8, ages 13-15)
I so far see that having a small amount of friends can actually be a good thing!

Might be why I'm failing a fue classes...no friends.()-_-

Hmm...since the educational system differs country to country, I'll try to answer the poll and question to the best of my abilities ^ ^ answers are based on my recently finished 4th year high school days.

1. There are 10 sections in a year level, and in each class, mine included, around 4-5.
2. Yes, most of the time.
3. Not really. If picked on you mean told to behave or such, no.
4. My grades are - Math: 73, English: 91, Science: ~80, and ~80 in other subjects. This would be like C-, A-, and B+ or -, give or take, respectively ^ ^

Videogames can and will affect grades, if much of your time is spent on them. Only a few people (myself included) can be totally addicted to games and still pass their subjects. It's the attention span an concentration. ^ ^

It's a rare occassion that I know anyone in any of my classes.
I met a couple cool peeps this semester that are in my same field of study and we are thinking of getting the some of the same classes next semester...but I think that will benifit us more than anything.
It's different when you get to the university level, because if your slacking your just wasting your time and money...
Your here because you want to be here and you want to do the best you can. Freinds don't impact my grades in the least bit- although sometimes I must admit I give into the procrastination trend and decide to dump school work to go see a movie...or something...but It's voluntaryly my choice. My freinds can call me for a nightout, but I do have the will power to say no, which in many instances I have and recently have felt like I have no social life. X.x

But I do believe your freinds in Highschool have an impact on your grades.

Highschool students are easily influenced by their peers, so if your hanging out with some slackers chances are your going to trend the same way - unless of course you have more will power and modivation to pull better grades all on your own.

Is true.
For while last year I got in with the wrong crowd and Failed. Horribly.
But now with more friends that are at least trying, I'm more motavated. I Like the fact that I can get all my work right and done faster than Miguel and Tony.
Thats Cool.
hehehe....
Wescomb:"And start....now."
Miguel:*Scrawling down answeres, looking back at me."
Me: "...Quit Cheating."
Miguel:"Not Cheating, Checking."
Me:"Bull."
(30 minutes later)
Me:*Springs up*"Doh-On!"
Miguel:"Ah!...How do you do that????"
Tony:*looks over from half way accros the room*..."Im only on the first page still!"
(5 page thing)

Ah, good times...
Smashing Tony head into the chalkboard, using it as an eraser,
Super-Fly-Tackling Miguel, For almost no reason,
Being way fasted than Miguel. Its Just that simple.
Having power over Tony. Now thats not limited to me, its limited to half the county. But thats it. XD

But now Im drifting huh?
Point is, This is all in math, and thats just about my best subject.
So yeah, I think 3-6 friends can be a good thing. I think this helps me cause Without a slight distraction to keep me on my toes, I'll daydream. So thats what they do, keep me up and working...
