Wind blew through the leaves and branches of the tree. He had found his way up into the branches to avoid being found. Cloud wasn't in the mood for other's, and being alone was much more his then compared to being social. He sighed, closing his eyes as he laid on the strong branch that sat about halfway up his tree. He was reminded of several things as he laid there, though he did his best not to think about his past.
((I'll be a bit rusty on my Cloud personality for a while XD))

Masao pranced down through the grass, having taken the time to come visit his favorite spot outside the lands of his tribe. His tail flicked back and forth, brushing along the grass in easy sweeps as he came to the large tree. He was seeking the shade since it was rather warm for him now that he was use to the snow and cold. He sat himself down, giving a wide yawn before looking up at the branches. He noticed there was another fox sitting up there, an odd looking one that seemed to be doing his best right then to ignore that Masao had sat himself down under the tree.

Cloud noticed the other Modi that came up to sit under his tree, but he didn't spare a glance in his direction. If he didn't look interested, then he'd be left alone, at least that's what he hoped. He shifted himself purposely to be looking in the other direction of the other fox, carefully keeping his balance on the branch as the end of his tail twitched in slight irritation.

Masao watched the strange fox with interest, giving a sniff of the air in his direction. A thoughtful look crossed his face as he wondered how and if he should try to talk to this newcomer, though he instantly remembered that he wouldn't know if he was a newcomer or not. He hadn't been outside his tribe's lands in a while, so it was very possible that this fox wasn't new at all around here. He finally decided on asking a question, one that would require some sort of answer other then 'yes' or 'no'. "How did you get up in the tree? The branches seem a bit high to have jumped to from down here, even the lowest ones..."

Cloud frowned when he heard the other fox asked the question, seriously thinking of ignoring him. Despite how he came off though, Cloud didn't really want to be rude to the other fox. "The bark is rough enough to get a good pawhold on, and I happen to be an exceptional jumper," he grumbled slightly, looking down at the blue fox below him.

Masao nodded at this, moving around the tree to examine it a little. That made sense, he supposed. He wondered for a moment if he should try to get up it as well, though decided against it. It'd be his luck he'd end up breaking something, and Ryari would probably not be very happy with him if he did. "Any particular reason you felt like being in a tree? I haven't seen too many foxes who climb them for no reason."

Kin wandered through the underbrush with his nose to the ground. As always, he had gotten seperated from his parents, siblings, and even the tribe 27 strong. He filtered out the scents of old hunting trails and game. He was really looking for an adult fox, one that would be taller and able to help him find his way home. He caught the scent of two foxes, male. He didn't recognize them, which was a blessing and a curse. He peered up at the two from his position low to the ground and saw one in a tree, and one on the ground. He carefully placed his feet, one after the other, so as to make no sound. However, he made a mistep and a twig cracked between his feet, and to him at least, it could have been heard for miles.

Cloud frowned down at Masao, about to answer him when he heard the twig snap. He reacted immediately, attention focused at the source of the sound to see if it was a threat or not. When he saw the smaller fox a ways off he relaxed again, giving a slight shake of his head. "I wanted to be left alone..." he mumbled more to himself then to Masao.
Masao looked in the direction of the sound too, giving a smile when he saw the kit. He heard what the fox up in the tree said, and rolled his eyes as he watched the kit, wondering if he needed any help. Masao liked kits.

Sahari looked around calmly, the Elder's tail flickered slightly, she padded forward her sea green gaze moving around the forest, this was nothing like her home, she paused and sniffed, recognizing one of her tribe mates she padded forward towards it, coming to where the foxes were she stopped and looked around. She looked at Masao and smiled, "Hello." She greeted softly, looking to Kin she tipped her head to the side wondering why the kit was out here, she glanced up at the fox in the tree then sat down curling her tail around her paws.

Akuma listened closely to the two males and a female. One of the males was definately the hopeless one that they called Cloud, the female was Sahari, and the third male was one that she didn't know. She crouched down low in the underbrush but knew that they'd catch her scent anyway.

Sahari's ears pricked and she glanced back towards the scent of Akuma she smiled slightly, "Well I dident expect to see you out here Akuma. Are waiting for some one perhaps?" She said in a teasing voice, knowing that if she was it would be Kinovu.

Nako wandered the forest curiously as he crossed it's tree's more curious of the surrounding. He sighed seeing no little animals to catch or no river streams to get a quick drink out out. Nako stopped instanly as he picked up the scent of about...4 Foxes. Nako looked up and managed to catch a familier scent. Akuma? Nako thought and seemed to duck low as he scrambled over to a bush and hid seeing the other 3 foxes aswell.

Akuma stood up. She smirked at Sahari and walked out of the bushes. "Hmm, possibly. I wandered over here and heard voices, so I decided to, well, check it out." She blinked. "What brings you here, Sahari?"

Sahari nodded, "I dont know why I came really." She said almost in a confused tone, she shook her head, and flicked her tail. "If you are looking for Kinovu, he is probally out bothering Rain. You should chect by the plants." SHe said calmly.
