The tall grass shuffled as Kylosus quietly tried to stalk his way twards an unsuspecting mouse. He kept his ears low and his body croutched, imitating how a big cat would hunt. His small body was barely visiable in the tall grass, the only way anyone would spot him is his dark red fur that stood out above the grass tones.
So close he was to the mouse, almost close enough to pounce. His hunting ways may have seemed weird to any other dog, as it was the style of the cats. Observing the big leopard he had followed helpped him in his hunting technics, but he was no expert. He was clearly underweight and under nurished.

A dogs ears perked and fell back. She was sitting in place panting from her run. She started foreward in search for some water. She tried to stay quiet as not to disturb anyone that might be napping near by, but she couldn't stop her panting.
She looked over the tall grasses to lok for a break. That's wear the water usually was. She let herself fall onto her back legs to balance and look over the grass.
Leini's chest clearly showed that her heart was beating faster because of the run, but she enjoyed it. Racing the wind was always fun. Something she gathered from her father. She grinned lightly and started to peer aroung over the grass.

Suddenly the mouse took a dash, Kylosus imidiatly perked his ears up and lept up. He dashed after the mouse as it made zigzag motions. It started twards a small bed of water, as if it was going to dive in to get away. Ky picked up speed thinking he had the mouse, all he had to do was pounce on it. As the mouse came close to the waters edge it darted in a different direction avoiding the water. Ky wasnt fast enough to turn. He tried changing direction but he paws slipped and he rolled right into the water.
"Stupid!" He growled in frustration as he sat up. his fur was coverd in mud that overlaped his red coat making him look dark brown. There he sat in the water, almost to angry to move. It had been a long time since he had had anything to eat. The combination of hunger and anger loamed over the pup.

Leini found the small break in the grass where the water was. She dashed towards it so she could lat it to her content.
However, when she got there, she saw a scrawny mud covered wild dog that seemed to be around her age. She stared at him for a second before going toward the water to take a drink.
Maybe he would talk to her. If not, she'd leave. She wasn't sure what to make of the dog though. It made it all the more difficult.

Ky growled a little and stood. The water was about up to his chest, him being small and everything. He went to turn and walk away when he noticed the female drinking. She looked familar someone he was once close to perhaps. He looked down at his reflection, hating what was staring back at him. A mangy wild dog coverd in mud. Sighing he walked over to the edge of the water a few feet away from the female.
He looked at her again and stood in place trying to remember where he knew her from. Suddenly it hit him, "Leini?" he said quietly still unsure if it was actually her, his sister. He was a little to consentarted on her to remeber the mud that cover his thin body.

Leini's ears perked towards the male and she stopped drinking. He heard the boy's faint voice.
She placed a paw into the water and stepped towards him a little. She paused and took a steep back, still unsure. Her mind was cautious after her meeting with Chirarah and still focased on there could be dangers.
"Who are you?" She asked. She couldn't catch the wild dog's scent and he sure as hell wasn't going to lok into his eyes. It might start a fight, depending on the dog.

Ky looked down, then stepped back. She doesnt remember me. He looked at the water again and this time shook the mud off, or at least as much mud as he could. His red coat was still darkend from being wet. "It's me, dont you remember?" He asked trying to sound as much like his old self as he could. Ky couldn't remember the last time he saw his sister, or any of his family for that matter. Often times he wondered if they missed him and how everyone was.

Leini lookd up to meet the eyes of her brother.
don't you remember?
Her eyes widened. "Ky...? She asked. vHe breath was caught in her throat, really hoping this to be her brother that she was searching so hard for.
She walked towards him, looking him over.

"you do remember!" Ky said excitedly as he rushed up to give Leini a nuzzle. His tail wagged happily as he tried to hold in his excitement. Right now he didnt care about his hunger or his under nurished body, his happiness was back and he didnt care about anything.

Leini's tail wagged wildly as she nuzzled her brother back. Shge nuzzled him and licked his muzzled. Her heart was beating quickly in excitement.
"I've been searching for you Ky!" She exclaimed. The excietment was in every move she made. Her whole body shook when her tail wagged. "I've finally found you!" She stated.

Ky's tail wagged almost as enthusiasticly as Leini's. The joy to finally be back with someone was overwhelming. "I've been trying to find you and the family sinse that leopard left me." he couldn't believe it, things would finally start looking up for him. He wouldn't have to be alone anymore.

"I've been trying to find you!" She exclaimed. "I left the family to travel and find you." Her tail was still wagging wildly. She licked his head in affection.
"I'm traveling with two guys now," She said. "They've been taking care of me," she said. She smiled at him. "Why don't you come with us!" She said with a grin.

His tail wagged almost as wildly as her's. "To travel with company again sounds welcoming." He smiled, glad to be with his sister. This time he wouldnt be so careless, he will stay with her and hope never to be separated again.
