I'm a senior physics major. I love debating, learning and teaching. Astrophysics is my purview but I know a lot about all kinds of scientific fields. I've just been blinded by science. biggrin

Astrophysics scares' me..
I just suck at physics in general.

Mainly because I've had no good professors, and I'm not the kind of person to be modivated to learn phyiscs all on my own.

Biology yes, Geology yes, Enviromental Science yes...but physics...no.

Someone's gota get me pumped about it...otherwise I won't take the iniciative to learn it.

Just last Sunday I was working at the observatory and Saturn was in the telescope and you could have swore were were a church with all the "Oh my gods" and Holy craps that was exclaimed after they saw Saturn. Last week we were messing with a laser worth as much as a car. We accidentally melted plastic. We had to stop playing with it when we found that out but man the reflections off the plastic were pretty. Like I said, I'm interested in all science but the stars have my eyes and the universe has my heart.

awe
that is quite poetic.
I saw saturn for the first time two weeks ago.
It is amazing.
It was actually my first time ever using a telescope.
It was rather exciting.

Why if I wasn't too poor I'd go out and buy my own telescope...but
well I'm poor.

This semester has been terrible for us in Astronomy lab, Cloudy nights most of the time.
